I don't really like the dividend either but Opdivo just extended my life!

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma in Mid October 2015 & have been having a drip every 14 days and after 8 drips a PET Scan & my Oncology team says I'm totally clean!

  • Is It Time To Buy Omega Healthcare Investors?  [View article]
I read several years ago that the majority of OHI's revenue comes from Medicaid or some other government agency as opposed to the private sector. If this is accurate in view of the trend toward austerity what are the implications? It bothers me.

My problem & I owned OHI for a long time is that most of their revenue is from Medicaid. What happens if we entire an extended period of austerity & that is looming!

I got back to PHYS a few weeks ago just for some insurance. We got in 2007 & it was a major score along with a very heavy position in CEF. Any thoughts out there?

I wouldn't interrupt the kind of greedy activities of many of theses banks as noy criminal. This administration is one of the few to take them on and most still in the justice department were appointed bevy Bushead Jr. I am hoping BAC wasn't as bad as some and that's undeniable!

Not an expert but FYI, I have traded SLV 3 times in the last 6 months. Once in PHYS. SLV I always bought around $18.50 & within weeks it ran to $21-24 & was sold. Recently & the only time for years I traded PHYS & made a couple of bucks per share?

This is not normal investing for me but it has worked every time.

In response to others I just don't get owning physical Gold, my wife has enough.

I haven't traded or owned Gold for several years but have traded Silver Short term 3 times in the last 6-9 months. Always bought SLV around $18.50 and sold between $21-24. Made some very nice profits for whatever that's worth. Now on the sidelines again.

I believe most of their revenue comes from Medicaid? What kind of risk, if any, does that pose? I have a large holding and it has been very steady with some growth over several years. Payout ratios are reasonable
