    Dumped all the way out of $AGNC today. Regret not doing it several dollars ago when I "knew" I should...Good example of WHY TIGHT LIMIT

    • William Packer: You should have just bought puts long ago that go out for a year about 25 percent below your purchase price. The costs were basically 0

    • Grand Nagus Kelly: Might have a roth like me that only allows buys or sells. A smart guy told me if it's down 5% sell. Be retired now had I listened.

    • William Packer: Joe, sounds like a good way to lock in losses. You have to look a fundamentals and the fact is fed tapering = higher rates = lower book.

    • Grand Nagus Kelly: Can always buy back in Packrat. I stink at day trading though so I try to buy only value picks I can hold long.

    • Widows&Orphans: I am more similar to Joe---I do not understand options, nor did I have enough shares of AGNC to write a contract on in any case.

    • Grand Nagus Kelly: Hear you W&O. My limit is no more than $3,500 worth of anything anyway. Not enough to worry about calls and options and puts to be worth it.
