  • Cheniere Energy: A Scary Midstream Stock To Avoid [View article]

I agree with your assessment on LNG. The CEO, Souki is rewarded handsomely making very bold moves. Would you possibly agree the Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) is a little less risky and supports a nice dividend.

Agree with you soriano. Too big to fail, so they will stay in the comfort zone and not get a black eye. Thought about writing covered calls at 70sp but this may be too low and will get called.

  • Weighing The Week Ahead: Is The Fed Behind The Curve? [View article]
    Mr Miller,

I nominate you for a seat on the FED. You accurately represent the rank and file consumer. I think there are latent indications of inflation above what the FED considers healthy. Try medical and education expenses not to imply that food and energy are stable, cause they are not.. Out of control in my estimation.

  • 2014 Market Forecast And Gold Prediction Based On Algorithms [View article]
The key to the spot price of gold I believe is tied to the petrodollar.
As the dollar eventually weakens, then the cost to buy Saudi Oil will
raise the oil/gold ratio per barrel of oil, hovering around a historical level of about 13 to 1. Oil is in a short tern downtrend due to the overvalued dollar. At some point, people will see the truth in the real value of the dollar(buying power) which has historically decreased in modern times. Paper gold (GLD and IAU) is being highly manipulated rather than pure fundamentals of supply and demand show in this market. I for one believe Steve Forbes is correct and that all currencies must be tied (backed) by something other than full faith and credit. Gold, platinum and palladium are all sought after industrial metals. Don't know where this Bitcoin thing is headed....

  • Chicago Fed President Charles Evans - the man whose ideas about QE∞ won the day on the FOMC - tells CNBC he expects unemployment in the 7% range for at least another 2 years. As 7% is unacceptable to Evans, the statement means he expects a minimum 2 years of continued $40B/month or more of asset purchases. Gold and silver erase early losses. GLD +0.3%, SLV +2% premarket. [View news story]
What would happen if too many dollars were printed and they became worthless to most ? I agree with Whitehawk. As a retired federal employee and veteran, I know how the government mentality functions and it will not be pretty when we are forced to fend for ourselves and grow food just to exist. I am afraid we moving backward and Redistribution will put us there a lot sooner than we could imagine. It is the wealthy we should thank for putting their capital at risk to create jobs for all. The wealthy are also wonderful benefactors.!!!!
