Actually, I think your comments are spot on....Feb. 15th is the end of this and then we have to wait for the judge; he seems to act quickly when everything is on the table....still did not appreciate the timing and process of the laches ruling...Vringo was hurt by that, big time!

Why should Judge Jackson provide "more time" to Google's lack of mediation effort? Pressure works better than "time", imo. However, I found your logic good on other issues. Most judges do NOT move quickly; but some do....check out Judge Davis (VirnetX)....Apple has money, but their arrogance has allowed him to step on their neck...quickly and effectively.

the legal system is just riddled with errors and made even more complex by district courts, federal courts, USPTO, ITC, FTC and especially the various "appeals processes" like the CADC and CAFC, it seems as though even the CAFC gets "challenges" by the USPTO after decisions have already been made.....settlements are the best option for all parties, but those with deep pockets get investors "scroogled"..nice article, Steve!

iv's are so high that either a backspread or modified backspread might work nicely if VRNG wins monies above $5.50.....I'm using 1.5 to l.....(long 50% more than the short position)......ex. 15 long contracts vs 10 short....5's long 4's short.....this also works with a long position......long shs/100% covered write (4's), and long otm calls (5's)....

Thanks for a well written article in support of DNDN....wish you had touched on the 2 problems I and others have: (1) Insider sales by the CEO right after approval and right before the CMS Decision. (2) His setting up a 10-b-5 program (installment sale of stock) bypassing SEC Rules on insider sales and, at the same time, accepting future stock awards with a zero cost basis.....what an example for shareholders. Disclosure: I am long Dendreon, but a lot more than 1 share.

the pressure on the stock seems unrelenting even with the potentially favorable revenue growth outlook and surprisingly the prior strong market did not help either; sadly DNDN dropped in price against that backdrop.....I appreciate your upbeat comment, maybe Soros and Cohen will add more shares at these prices.....hope so.
