  • Sorry Dorothy, Micron Will Not See $50 [View article]
    @Shock Exchange: thanks.
Even though I'm a day trader, who mostly trades MU ( volatility, and liquidity), I always keep a nest egg, for when there is panic selling, or a so call " correction". Then, I gobble up as many shares as my $s can buy. And those are the only ones I keep, until, as always, there is a bounce.
    Happy trading to you.

@ myself...and I did make a fortune! Cashed out of my 15,000 shrs position ( I use margin as part of my buying power) at $31.45, when the chart broke downward just 3 minutes into the opening, today, at 9:35 AM. Those shrs are the one purchased at $28.11, and $27.70. Then, I went short playing the price movement. No holding in my book, once the chart breaks south, and all indicators are bearish. There always be an chance to get back long. But only when indicators are bullish.
    :-)

I just bough 10,000 shares of MU at the bounce from the lows $28. As I wrote before, MU might not see the $50s. But who ever buys at these levels, will make a fortune. And as some of you know, I'm not an investor. I'm a day trader, except for this 10,000 shares at 28.11.

Long time no write on SA. Hi to every one.
Expecting the panic sell off to continue today, I transferred $100,000 to my trading account at Etrade. I'm a day trader, as a few of you know. But, As of this writing, I'm just waiting for MU to settle down the crazy trading at this time, and bounces clearly from a demand zone. I'll see it by the size of the lots, if institutions started to by. Then. I'll go ALL in. MU might not see $50 as per author. But who ever buys at this levels, on a good bounce, will make a fortune. One of them will be me.

  • A Confusion Of Ideas - Micron And The DRAM Industry [View article]
    @Robert.from.CT
    Hey, Robert!
Have you finally gotten MU's trading strait? Hope you've made a ton of $. Opportunities have been abundant either way. MU is NOT a stock for the faint or hard, though, as you know well by now.
    Happy trading!

@ RSA...I just logged in to "see" what was being written in SA about MU, after this big drop.
SA, had become burying therefore I've stayed away. But after reading your piece, written with astonishing logic, and common sense, and in such a simple way, a new hope for SA has sparked in me.
...and you never dated my aunty Jean. And still I don't have an attorney in my family. Bummer!
PS: I've entered in the elite 1% thanks to MU. And still trading it. Long, and short. Just like today. The stock is very generous. As long as we are on the write side of the "momentum".
    my best wishes.

  • Micron: Nothing Good Lasts Forever [View article]
    @ who ever:
a pull back of $2, give or take a few cents...is a nice profit taking, although from geopolitical issues, to "rumors" of that the price of "this" is going down, or that the supply of "that" is going up, don't sound to me as a planned profit taking from whom ever sold shares. Most likely, investors. Traders do it all the time, and go short also, taking advantage of those drops. And MU's story repeats itself: DROP!, my God, the sky is falling!. Then, a few days latter...POP! MU up all what it lost, plus a nice new high, and a new run is on its way.
Its so predictable! I've seen this picture over and over.
As a day trader I do what I do. But if I were an investor, I'd stay long until MU is fully valuated, or starts trading 12X forward earnings. Then, and only then, I'll think about taking 1/2 off the table, or perhaps all of it.
    I'm just saying...

f5alcon: congrats for your success holding MU, and believing in it.
I've had my own success. But you know its being in a very different way, and approach to yours. At the end, what matters is: " if it works, don't change it".
    Regards.

Dimitry: singing out of tune, hurts my ears, and offends my taste.
I'm no fundamentalist, and I haven't written on SA in a long time. But I read articles from time to time. Although I see that the "good writers", haven't done much as of late.
The fellow writing that article, must be a very lonely man, craving attention. As the one we are just giving him.

  • Micron Technology: Convertible Disaster [View article]
    Uh?....Hum...
I don't understand any of I just read. I'm an idiot.
But by the sound of it, and the underline disappointment the author reflects in his writing, it presses again, the point which we all know: MU, regardless of the obvious good fundamentals it has, is a poorly run company. I'm just saying.
    :(

  • Micron: Updates Following Q2 Earnings [View article]
Guys, no matter how smart of a research, and poignant writing about what MU real value is, EPred, RSA, Russ, Jaret, ( and others which omission is not intentional) give us, we can't "will" MU's price to its deserving level. Only those with market moving power, who ever they are, can do that. And unfortunately, the ones "talking" the loudest, are the bearish ones.
    I'm just saying...

  • Why Micron Technology Might Be Able To Continue Its Absurd Growth [View article]
@Jaret...About after hours meaning nothing: I had the opportunity to pick up some shares on the bounce from 23.65, when it went "loco" all the way down there. Hard to buy with such a volatility. But I was able to get in at 23.70. So, for me, that after market has given me a grate position for tomorrow. So, I suppose after market is very relative to who watches it, and acts on it.
