I was like most geeks of the late seventies in that I was mesmerized with a new thing called a personal computer. Building computers from kits and parts before they were commodities, I learned programming and design years ahead of what was being taught in higher education. Working at many levels of the technology industries I finally got my dream job of creating new businesses for a small startup in 1988.
