  • Genworth slides on cautious JPMorgan outlook [View news story]
"Jimmy Bhullar, an analyst at JPMorgan, lowered his price target for Genworth shares to $11 from $18 today, citing a “cautious” outlook for the insurer’s main businesses such as mortgage guaranties and life coverage"

  • Maybe I'll wait a bit before buying [View news story]
It's pieces like this that are making SA lose more credibility each and every day. TRTC is widely considered to be one of the premier potential Cannabis stocks for the future and is currently executing a business plan that does NOT include MJ yet, while preparing to do so if legalization occurs. The focus on the article is the laughable sec filing, which has zero relevance to TRTC, yet SA editors either do not have the proper knowledge to realize that or just purposefully decide to allow the misleading information to be printed. Either scenario is unacceptable.

" I was trying to point out how relative valuation can be and that investors should be more cautious before throwing their money at a company just because it is 'real.' "

    Strawman?

Fair enough, Matt. Thanks for taking the time to provide a little more insight on your thought process for this article. While I personally do not risk large amounts of my retirement capital on these types of investments, I realize that there are probably a lot of people out there that do and your message to them rings true.

But why SPLI? And why compare them to a company with which you have invested? Surely you could have used a better example to make the point that some penny stock companies are not treated equally by investors than a company like Vapor Group that has far more going for it than a majority of their peers. Could SPLI have been replaced with MCIG? Is there ANY penny cannabis stock out there right now that the stock price isn't way ahead of it's valuation?

Matt, I'm starting to think you are more concerned with pageviews than with providing a fair assessment of the development stage companies within this huge potential growth industry that is just now emerging.

That's too bad because I wanted to hear about your efforts at trying to contact VAPE, since you mentioned them in a parting shot that they ignored your requests.

A negative article by an author that discloses a short position that is filled with valuation nonsense on a development company causes shares of VAPE to tank, destroying wealth in the process and you can't stop laughing?

  • Cannabis Stocks: Wait For Proof Of Business Concept [View article]
If you do continue, then I hope you realize that a majority of these companies do not trade on any kind of fundamentals based on their current or future business model in the Cannabis market.

If your focus is on fundamentals, then you are looking into the wrong sector. Maybe you should come back this time next year?

You continue to question the integrity of Mr. Brochstein, which I find appalling and very unprofessional. Alan on the other hand has been nothing short of amazing in his service he provides to his members and has more integrity in his pinky than you will ever have.
