  • Tesla: Actually, Consumer Reports Just Reiterated The Bear Case [View article]
Lack of profitability is not a huge concern at this point. There are very deep pockets (not just Elon's) behind this company and they are doing everything correctly now to insure that there will be profitability in the future. Amazon comes to mind as well in terms of doing whatever it takes monetarily to lay the foundation to be able to compete and dominate their respective segments. This could well be one of those stocks that you buy and never, ever sell.

Not much is certain in this world but I'm quite sure that the stock prices of XOM and CVX are closer to a bottom than they are to a top and that's good enough for me.

  • Are Stocks Overvalued? A Survey Of Equity Valuation Models [View article]
The market (as of today; referencing the DJI) is 3,700 points above where it was in 2006. Averaged out, this "gain" equates to 411 points per year since it hit 14,100 back in 2006.......hardly what I would call a rocket to the moon!

  • The Lesson Of Ambarella [View article]
There's also buyout chatter driving the stock price. AMBA is a good candidate for a number of large tech companies that have the capitol to make it happen. Even if a buyout doesn't happen, AMBA has the fundamentals for a bright future.

One thing that I'm absolutely positive about......$SDRL is closer to the bottom than it is the top! Seems to be a classic case of "be greedy when others are fearful."

Well if we did know when market "events" will happen, we wouldn't be here. We would be on a beach somewhere sipping a drink with one of those umbrella thingy's in them!
