    Per Jana's Mission Statement from their website:

    "A value-oriented, event-driven manager that invests, long and short, in companies undergoing or expected to undergo change."

    Sure sounds like they profit on company disruption.
    A breakup is not in the best interest of the shareholders.

    That's absolutely true. We are not too concerned with "best" price when buying/selling but rather the average return over an extended period. I can't wait for the Vanguard offering in this space!

    Like it or not, a lot of MCD's success is due to the fact that a large percentage of its' sales come from a certain demographic. They need to up the quality of their food but the challenge comes from doing that without drastically increasing their prices.

    Research also continues with supercapacitors. Although they are quite a long way from commercial use (they charge quickly but don't have much energy storage density) or even EV's, their further development will be interesting to follow:

    Unfortunately, the red line doesn't garner ratings or additional viewership for CNBC. They probably consider DG investing too "boring" to devote much time to it. Their model sinks or swims by the creation of excitement, e.g., focusing on the short term which is actually disingenuous to those exact viewers that they purport to serve.

    Why would you sell it now? Best bet is to hold on to it for the inevitable run up at some point. Yes, it could go lower but it seems that the likelihood of a trend higher is the greater possibility.
