The first book I read about investing was "Bogle On Mutual Funds" written by Vanguard founder John Bogle. The book was written in 1994 and as any investor knows, quite a lot has changed in the fundamentals of the stock market since then. In the book, John touts a buy and hold strategy which I believe still holds some merit. However, I also believe that any current investor has to be light on his feet and ready to respond to rapidly changing market conditions in our current climate. My investing philosophy is influenced both by my "early" learning and current global market conditions and the very insightful articles that appear on Seeking Alpha. I believe that careful diversification is a key driver in ...More investment success.
