I'm a beginning investor, with a big background in ICT. For starters i'm always busy with computers, tinkering with it, programming and building stuff that i like. I'm a student who studies Technical Computing at the university of applied sciences of Amsterdam. I love it with the whole of my heart. 2010 is the year that i came into contact with the stock exchange and value investing. Since then i have learned a great deal about it. For example i learned a lot about ratios, i made the philosophy mine and much more. How ever i still have a lot to learn, for example what my "circle of competence" is, among others. But i found out that learning to invest like a value investor, which is in my opinion the only correct way, is very difficult to learn. This is due to all the opinions and scattered way the information is there. That's why i started http://empireoftrade.com as a hobby. The site is for beginning investors like me so that they can learn from example and gain more experience a bit faster. At least that's the goal of my website. I do know i don't have authority in the investing world, i do not desire it. The only thing that i desire is to help out people and learn them what i know.
