  • Algonquin Power: U.S. Dollar Dividend, Canadian Dollar Share Price, And Huge Insider Ownership  [View article]
Why is this company's price share at $7.61 and a market cap of 1.8B? Doesn't seem to be a lot a DD to look at considering my initial research. The good news is they just bought Empire Electric which I've held for over a year now. This sure seems like an interesting way to double down BUT it could be another 20 years before the Canadian dollar pars with the U.S. dollar.

STAG up 5% after hours. Go figure.... love monthly pay. Another monthly hidden gem to the north is Enercare CSUWF. Growing customer base in good times or bad. And the dollar buys about 40% more in shares. Thanks for all your input and hard work keeping us informed and up to date.

  • Lamar Is Not Your Typical REIT - It's Way Better  [View article]
Interesting idea. I travel a lot and see a lot of empty billboards out there. That's a concern. Do you have any ideas on the rent or lease terms? Unlike others REITS that tend to be long term or triple-net I wonder about board vacancy rates. The world is changing and billboards are (perhaps) a thing of the past? I'll look deeper and watch for now. Good article. Thanks.

    YTD -1.78
Say what you will (but) -1.78 YTD is unsatisfactory! Throw in the 1.77 expense charge, don't forget about your taxes, and what's left? Who takes all the risk? These fund managers win either way. They never get their hands dirty. Seems to me they should be compensated based on the overall funds performance. jmo
