    Please check past forecasts results:
We are at the end of the first quarter, and it’s time to summarize our end-of-2012 forecasts and compare them with the outcomes.
On November 8 2012, when the S&P500 stood at 1377.51
Dr. Roitman wrote: “the long-term forecast for a year ahead is improving, meaning the S&P 500 will be mostly higher next year than what where it's at today” .
It is indeed higher today by 12.6%.

In a choice between: being afraid of missing an opportunity as opposed to losing money, even skeptics are being forced into the market.

    1) February retail-sales data proved better than expected
    2) An increase in the factory workweek to the longest since World War II indicates that the jobs growth in the sector is set to continue. Production staff worked an average 41.9 hours a week in February, tying with December 1997 and January 1998 as the most since May 1944. Companies will need to think about recruiting for future needs, not just for their immediate requirements, if demand stays steady, says employment consultant John Challenger.
    3) Truck tonnage in January was up 6.5% from a year ago, strong evidence that the economy continues to expand.
    4) Housing construction continuos to grow
J.P. Morgan has revised higher its forecast for U.S. economic growth following stronger-than-
    expected retail sales in February.
The bank now expects annualised first-quarter U.S. gross domestic product to grow 2.3%, compared with an earlier forecast of 1.5%.
It is very hard to argue with the statistics and according to all indicators this year will be good for the stock markets

  • Why BlackBerry's Gain Was A Mirage [View article]
    Agree with you.
For future projections I would rather be looking at the Thomson Reuters State of Innovation Report, which reveals that Blackberry's innovation engine is steaming ahead. BB has been assigned 825 inventions in Mobile telephony in 2012, a close second to Qualcomm's 869. Nokia was awarded 435.
For the present, stabilizing the company and delivering 22 cents per share instead of -29 cents is just positive.
My entry point to BBRY was on February 20 per this forecast:, I closed my position before Z10 introduction.
Now I am looking for a new entry point.
    Happy Holidays!
