I retired in 1994 from a career in Pharmaceutical R&D, where I reached an executive level. My PhD is in Biochemistry. I'm a recovering risk-taker, having repeatedly lost money in the market by speculating without adequate knowledge and experience. I have made money in real estate, but the great crash left me holding some commercial property that will not sell. Currently, I am back in the market, but now a much-chastened dividend-growth stock investor, looking for income.
