  • Pricing Apple's Uncertain Future: A Scenario Model [View article]
A recent polling I saw reported said 71 % thought aapl was slow to innovate...... I have been critical of aapl not bringing a larger iphone to market. Obviously there is demand by younger generation for video streaming on phones.....seems like a no brainer but I have no technical knowledge of the edifficulties of getting their retinal display on say a 4.5 to 5 inch screen..
...SJ was quoted saying he was most proud of not bringing bad ideas to market.....after aapl map criticism and Samsung ip theft, I believe TC and co. Are very selective and protective ...any new products will surely be armour coated in patents to ensure winning litigation against the likes of Samclone...As aapl stands now it is a cash cow and the iPad is killing the laptop and pc sales....

Recently my non aapl laptop bit the big one and I have Unwillingly been destined to utilize my iPad for all my stock trading Sa eBay nflx you tube Craigslist photo taking hotmail tune in radio.....amazingly I have not missed a beat getting at least 8 hours usage on a charge, at 50 percent screen brightness which is very adequate for reading and video....long aapl and hope the next innovative product is as disruptive as the last. Ones...

Apple is the last man standing in the case after all the publishers involved settled. The trial is due to start on June 3. [View news story]

  • Chatter says trading desks are busy with corporate buyback activity today as CFOs take advantage of a little selling to put repurchase plans into action. AAPL is the gorilla, having bumped its authorization to $60B from $10B. Others of note include: LyondellBasel (LYB), Merck (MRK) - which just entered an accelerated repurchase program, NetApp (NTAP), Northrop Grumman (NOC), Macy's (M), and Delta (DAL). There's also IBM - long with a reputation for issuing debt at lows in yield. Is their equity timing as good? [View news story]
