  • More on the Goldman downgrade of Apple (AAPL): Believing an imminent dividend hike/share repurchase could set a floor under the stock price, Goldman is less optimistic about the "timing and impact" of the next product cycle - needed if the stock is going to be an outperformer over the coming year. "The stock's upside potential should be more limited than we previously anticipated." Shares +0.25% premarket. [View news story]

I am starting to think a lot of investors will bail after the next run up...I see it more of feeling of trader / investment/fatigue....... even if it continues to run up after the next innovation IMO many will diversify into safer higher value / dividend trades......many of us aapl longs are overweight and never want to sell shares.... I still think the exceptional products quality wise and ease of use and seamless ecosystem are second to none...

  • "iRadio is coming. There's no doubt about it," a music industry source tells The Verge's Greg Sandoval. After months of tough negotiations with studios, Apple (AAPL) is said to be aiming for a summer launch. The company's reported plan to limit the service to Apple hardware stands to affect its popularity with customers who listen to music on both Apple and non-Apple gear. Sandoval adds the music industry has "a love-hate relationship" with Pandora (P), believing (in spite of Pandora's gripes about royalty rates) it "chokes off demand" for more profitable services. [View news story]
