  • Alcatel-Lucent expands CloudBand 'carrier cloud' solution to support wider range of cloud platforms and networking equipment vendors [View article]
I like that Alcatel-Lucent thinks through their solutions before offering them to the public. Saves many frustrating experiences.

  • Will Bank Of America Bounce Back In 2012? [View article]
Bank of America has a goood plan. The Country wide purchase is its only noose at present. To think that BAC should have to carry all the water for that tragic mis-management by all is not realistic. The agreement that all US was reached but is being tested again in courts of individual stste courts. This welfare ideology of the individual states is not valid in Uniform Code. The Federal government should assert its control over this situation, and the consumer should have its responsibility for defaults on mortgages. Then this situation will be resolved. The individual states have to realize that nothing is resolved by letting our financila institutions flounder. If one wins the issue, then it is like a small with only so many lifeboats. All push and scream for the last remaining seat thuss capsizing the lifeboat so none get rescued. Let the Federal Agreement stand and we shall prosper, Let each individual state win and their is no end to their indivual greed.

  • Brian Moynihan (BAC) fires back at critics of his bank telling employees to take the battle over its public image to the state and municipal level where BofA loans drive the wheels of local commerce and charitable gifts help fund causes in the community. Moynihan unplugged: "You ought to think a little about that before you start yelling at us."  [View news story]
Amen Moynihan. Bank of America has paid all its public debt. It is just now being the scapegoat for all the Wall Street darlings because they are not Wall St. but MAin Street. Go Bank of America help the regular working man out an keep Merrill to help these working folks grow their capital. Used to be when a bank acted as a white knight to save financial institutions they were rewarded instead of being penalized. Oh well BOA will raise above this witch hunt and prevail.

  • It looks a lot like the Fed is putting a big bank’s interests over those of taxpayers, Jonathan Weil writes, as it supports Bank of America’s decision to shift derivatives into a subsidiary filled with federally insured deposits. Fed priorities seem to lie with protecting BAC from losses, even if it means greater risks for the FDIC’s insurance fund - and taxpayers deserve to know why.  [View news story]
I am tired of all this BAC bashing. Get over it BAC bought Merril. It is finished, true Country-wide was not a good investment, but Ken just wanted to help his friends in the White House out. All the banks went down that sliperry slope. Why should BAC be the one bank to catch all the hea and price tag for a government inspired failed policy. Enough already.

&50 Billion dollars a year could be saved by investeing in a reliable energy source that does not cost the auto industry a fortune to implement. Industrial hemp, algea technoligies would allow auto mnftrs to only make small injector changes and use existing tech. to make a reliable auto. Antything congress has come up with that will return $750 billion to the US economy each and every year?
