  • Existing Home Sales Won't Necessarily Profit Home Depot [View article]
They're not just about hammers, nails, lumber, and drywall, that being the core of home improvements. I think the trend of the home improvement market is a renaissance that will live on for years to come especially since the government has screwed up the economy so badly for everyone, especially for those who have a home and the millions who need an affordable one. The DIY’er is out of necessity for most, not a fad!

  • Capstone Turbine Receives Follow-On Order for Fifteen C65s from Horizon Power Systems for U.S. Shale Oil and Gas Customers [View article]
How long before big refining companies like Valero (VLO) realize the potential of these turbine technology to capture their waste fuels and turn it into free plant power, or profitable electrical power for resale. Stop the waste, reduce carb emission tax, provide a valuable service to the country, save the planet. Seems like a win win win win to me.

  • Biofuel RINs Return With A Vengeance [View article]
Doesn't VLO have their own ethanol production plant, and wouldn't that be a lucrative business process under these conditions? Personally I hate the stuff, many a small and large engine has been ruined by this destructive element. I wish someone would put and end to this government madness!

  • Why Valero Energy Is A Great Buying Opportunity Right Now [View article]
Refiners make more than liquid fuel from oil feedstock, don’t they? If refining is VLO forte then stick with it, let shippers ship, and distributers distribute. Our countries roads/infrastructure is falling apart, especially in the northern regions of the country (N.Y especially) let alone other countries, that’s tar and black top, shingles, sealants, and all kinds of products that are waiting to be developed, manufactured, and sold. I’m just saying!

  • Capstone Turbine: Risk Priced Into This Small Cap Stock Now Overdone [View article]
Certainly sounds like the pressures on! The company has to come together on this, sales working with finance, finance with tech, tech wit OPS, OPS with shipping, and just maybe they can coordinate a big aggressive push to business prosperity, and more importantly stay there. Time and time again investors have been elevated up just to be dropped on our collective heads. Don’t want to go through that again. This company must grow and sustain itself to prove its worthiness to the industry it serves. This may be their last dance, hope they understand that!

  • Update: Capstone Turns In Miserable Quarter [View article]
Seems they may have a shot at the KeyStone Pipline if it gets going. CPST should be a player for power mobility and permanent station check points. Just speculating, looking for that sprinkle of hope!

  • Capstone Turbine: A Turnaround Play That Investors Shouldn't Miss [View article]
This stock has been a gift and a curse over the past several years that I have invested in it. It’s last two large shares for cash sell offs, a couple of years back at 1.11, and last year at 1.60 sets a benchmark/target if you will for me. Right now that’s a hundred percent gain based on today’s share price, that is if you’re willing to hold up for a year or so. At today’s price, it is clearly a gift. I predict its next high will be in the three dollar + range, again given its past stock fluctuation history and shares for cash sell off. The risk is they still need to sell sell sell... ship ship ship, and install! That's a risk I'm willing to take to double my investment. Also, by all metrics this is a technology that exceeds all other fossil/organic fuels to energy production with a heck of a lot less equipment maintenance requirements, hands down. Hoping for the best for the company, and good luck for me!

  • Home Depot may be investigated by FTC; sued by customer [View news story]
Can we sue the Federal Trade Commission, or any other Government agencies that have also been breached, would that be okay too? Can we now sue the NSA, or do we just put them in jail for their criminal hacking of innocent United States Citizens phones, accounts etc. without warrant? Hell the NSA was hacked, remember! This is wacked out thinking gone way way amuck! May he who is impenetrable and without vulnerabilities be the first to sue…. any takers?

Hey here's an idea, why don't we put HD, Target, and everyone else who has been a victim to this cotangents out of business completely, who needs those kind of jobs anyway... get it stupid (that underground speak for government). Or how about we fine the bajeva’s out of them so they have to close a whole bunch of stores, or move to another country to operate, ya that’ll solve the problem won’t it stupid.

  • We Think Cramer Has This Retail Stock Wrong [View article]
Seems to me that HD has the products and services that regular folks, business, and contractors want and need to build, rebuild, or update their abodes instead of trying to manage their way through the residential or commercial buyers market. Vulnerabilities across retail stores is now a fact of life and not one of them is immune to the inevitable. However, it has also become the norm for retailers and banks to make any restitutions quickly and implement resolution to protect customers affected by these breaches. In other words, we’re are, as a society, getting used to this, and also used to the fix, i.e. we are less concerned. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but we have become a little numb to the breach situation. So will I stop going to the HD for my home needs, maybe switch to Low’s…. nope, I like my HD! Statistically, of the millions of HD customers, probably only a fractional amount of them are investors, if you are an HD investor you still have to consider the need for the store, there are not many, in fact only a couple, like it on the planet. There are many Target like stores, literally thousands, which is a little different retail environment when compared to HD' competitor environment.

  • Capstone Turbine Fourth Quarter Earnings Preview [View article]
Keeping up with manufacturing I suspect will be their biggest problem in the near future. If they can manage to produce all the micro turbines that will be needed to address the gas and oil flaring dilemma, and get them online to meet the new regulations, it will be miraculous, and should be very profitable!
