Is There A Trading Pattern Emerging In France Telecom? [View article]
Henry,
Thanks for the article. Doing some DD on this stock as a possbile dividend run-up play. However, I see the recent dividend is a decrease, so probably no play here for me.
Longwei Petroleum: A Dormant Dragon Sleeping In The Kingdom Of Oil [View article]
A very novice point of view regarding this weeks' pricing, which as cyberhoward notes is a little slack. I really think the banksters want into this stock, and there just isn't that much to play with--because as noted, the company is 70% owned by two major holders. I think they (the banksters) are taking it down and getting in. Again, just the opinion of a guy in his third month of this. I haven't checked short interest lately, but that could be another factor. Excellent thread and comments, thanks to all.

Kevin,
Still following, thank-you for the article. I follow the price-action daily, with the rips and dips I feel there are some bigger dogs moving in as you suggested back a week or so ago. Can't work against them, so as you say will let them drive it down, allowing them to create buying opportunities for smaller players also.
Thank-you Ray and Kevin, for helping me make some sense of the wild pricing Thurs/Friday. That volume spike/price dip at the close was really something!
Consider A Temporary Portfolio Hedge With A Volatility ETN [View article]
I have a 10% (of portfolio) temporary TVIX hedge at the moment, for the reasons you articulate above. There are times volatility is a responsible investment.
I read a lot of comments re: investing in China in general. 90% of the negative stuff can be summarized as "you can't trust a Chinese company". I'm sure those folks have their valid reasons, but I agree with 1980XLS when he says "stocks are about the future, not the past".

I got all excited about an actual poison pill also. Very disappointed.

I enjoy and learn from your posts, thank-you. This one has the added bonus of a title that would work for a country song, very nice!
