  • Noble Corp., Diamond Offshore shares down big on slower drilling outlook [View news story]
From previous articles in SA it would appear that 4 new rigs being build for ESV have already
been contracted out for work in the North Sea, in which case the steady fall of the share price
    seems to be overdone.

  • CenturyLink Launches Managed Office, a Fully Managed IT Services Solution For Small And Medium-Sized Businesses [View article]
I am living in the UK but invest only on the NYSE via ML.
Re CTL - they were recommended by analysts when they were as high as $36.- Now they have
almost reached a 52 week low. I wish we would get some news out of the management that
explains this downfall and they inform us of some positive news.

  • GE's Immelt: 'We End The Year With Momentum' [View article]
I am not living in the USA - but I do invest/trade on the NYSE. What puzzles me sometimes is the US investor appears to see only the side of the American activity, ignoring the things that go
on with global companies overseas. In my opinion you cannot go wring with GE but I do agree
with some of the comments, GE could have done better, and should be as successful as ABB or

  • Stunning fall for SodaStream after cracks emerge in growth story [View news story]
iN MY OPINION the drop in the share value is judged too much on just the USA market, whilst SODA is expanding all the time in other markets too. I liked the other article of SA from yesterday
were it made common sense that a company expanding at over 20% all the time cannot always
produce the profit shareholders expect. The comparison with the early growth of AMAZON was
    very good.

  • Maybe more ominous than rising yields on 10-year Spanish and Italian debt are sharply higher rates on the 2-year paper. Both are about 120 bps higher than they were at the time of the ECB's 2nd LTRO (late Feb.). Presumably, both countries' banks loaded up at this end of the curve, meaning 6 weeks later, they're sitting on some large losses.  [View news story]
I am a German, living in England and Spain and investing only on the NYSE. Why are the shares so low? Is it because SANTANDER is a
Spanish Bank? Should one not consider that the Bank is by now the
13th largest in the world, and incomewise depends less and less on
Spain. They are expanding in the UK,Poland,Germany,USA and
important substantially in South America, from where over 25% of their
    net income comes already.
I believe the shares are A REALLY GOOD BUY now they are under
    $ 7.-
