Never be afraid to take a profit.

I sold AAPL at a respectable profit in October . . . only to buy it again at 394 on its way down . . . again.

The trades may not be genius . . . but they are certainly proving not to be moronic either.

Articles such as this one . . . borders on being crackpot.

    Why are airlines profitable?

Because finally . . . they are charging more for their services . . . than it costs to produce them.

  • Spaceship Apple Comes Down To Earth  [View article]
Excuses, excuses ... these guys make me sick.

I hope the author learned a good lesson from his error. Actually, Apple had a great quarter. Most companies would give their left ____ to have a quarter like that.

I am long AAPL. It's best days are still ahead.

    Chuck,

Good article. I could not agree with you more. You hit the nail right on the head.

I have seen this movie before. The media hammers Apple if they do not meet THEIR expectations, no matter how illogical. Shortly after that, traders follows like lemmings. It's self inflicted punishment ... at its finest.

I am long AAPL. It's a phenomenal company which designs and builds great products and cannot be duplicated or outdone by anyone else, so far. For me, yesterday was just a temporary, knee-jerk, pull back. Recovery is under way.

I would be willing to bet AAPL climbs back to its years high within the next 30 days. Historically, that's what happens. I do not plan on selling any of it in the immediate future.

In my humble opinion, the best days for Apple are still on the horizon.

You need to get your facts straight.

Sounds to me that you have some type of axe to grind with Apple. Show us a better company.

I'm not buying what you are selling.

    Long AAPL.

  • Weakening Leading Indicators Are Bullish for Mortgage REITs  [View article]
New to mREITS and retirement. The dividend performance is attractive.
With x amount of investment in mREITS, I would like to generate $2,000/month income after taxes.
    How's this for a strategy?
Invest in 3 mREIT's which will generate $2,500/month gross income. Pull the plug when:
    1. The Fed increases short term rates.
    2. mREITS begin lowering their dividends.
    3. Catastrophic event with economy.
Any and all comments are humbly appreciated.
