  • The Bubble's Name Must Be Godot: We Keep Waiting And Waiting [View article]
One of my regrets: I do not actively trade stocks, but I bought Intel last year in April, and it jumped 4% the next day. I said thank you very much, sold it all, and have regretted it ever since. Poor decision, and not one I will make any time soon again.

I'm all for giving people more information when making purchases, but not by government compulsion. Besides, no one is buying a coke because they think it is good for them.

I almost bought when they were trading below $1.50 back in the late winter. Initiated a position at $3.40 because I couldn't wait any longer to go in, but I regret not buying much sooner.

The way I read the news release, NCT established three ways to trade their stock after the record date. If you sold their stock the 'regular way' after May 6, you did not get the right to matching shares of NRZ. Only if you sold it in the 'ex distribution market' after May 6 will you get matching shares. I owned NCT in a taxable account until around May 10 or so, and have not received any NRZ shares to date. I held onto NCT in my IRA, and have received shares of NRZ in that, so I assume I traded it the 'regular way' (both accounts at Merrill Lynch). I hope this helps
