Where are the batteries going to come from. Manufacturers are constrained by batteries now. And, when the cars get to be used cars, who will pay several thousand for a replacement battery?

I believe when GM bought Americredit, it was not only to secure a captive finance company, but also provide a source of lower tier financing. Financing for better credit has been available, but lower tier credit has been a problem
