The interest began with readings here at SA especially the articles by David Van Knapp. I don't think it's the perfect investment method, but in the current zero interest rate environment it's working well for us so far. I try to spend an hour per day learning about investing.
My wife and I live debt free (well, 5 years left on mortgage). We save what we can for retirement and our daughters' 529 plans.
Investment goals: fund children's college (at least partially). Be able to retire early.
