The little man always gets left holding the bag. These funds get together at there cocktail parties and all decide to sell at the same time and sell in to any strength because they have enough shares to stall any rallies, knowing they'll be able to buy back at a much lower price. All kinds of shady shell games are associated with these stocks.Like the Directors shorting thru put and dumping large blocks of shares to drive the price down.I admeit tthe PEs and yields are attractive but beware the manipulations. Jul 31 01:35 AM

Boone wants to get everyone hooked on NG so he can make another billion $$$ by creating false shortages like the current oil "imbalance".... the current imbalance will tip the other direction as it did in the 70's and oil companies will be insertirting the old intravenous oil glut down the American vein.We nee to ride our bikes and walk and ban drive thru.It would be great for the American psyche. Oil companies are like heroin dealers. The "easiest ,quickest and fastest way to wean ourselves off of foreign oil" is to quit driving around in oversized trucks , boats ,etc, etc and go on amajor oil diet. You never hear any oil companies talk about that option though because they wouldn't be able to sell their product at wildly inflated prices.Wake up gluttons and walk to the supermarket or the ride your bike.Might lose some of that spare tire around your gut too. I think rebeldog is on to something.Whenever GS and the the experts start coming out with $200 /barrel oil it gives them time to start lightening up on their longs and start bulking up on puts.I'm shorting and long DUG. May 28 11:12 PM
    • The Agriculture Bull Keeps Getting Stronger [view article]
The world population is growing exponentially while the amount of grain produced cannot grow at the same rate (even with massive amounts of fertilizers) thus the demand for potash and other fertilizers will out strip the ability to meet demand. This is known as pricing power.Any one know how long it takes to bring on new potash mines?I'm guessing it's about 4 years to get all the neccessary permits and. equipment in place. You do the math.

When a stock falls 25% in a week after a great earnings it can shake loose a lot of shares.I'm sure the hedge funds dump the shares to get back in later at a lower price. All you can do is hold on.They probably get people to write articles like the one above so they can continue to dump shares while the bagholders get creamed.
