    That's why I always keep my mountain bike in the back of my gas guzzler.
    Inthe event of a close encounter I can abandon gas powered vehicle and make it another 50 to 100 miles(depending on weather and terrain) on pedal power.

    Yes but don't forget that your battery car will be completely disabled in the event of a "close encounter".I'll stick with my gas guzzler until the UFO phenomenon has been properly identified.
