Its idiots like your cousin Cara that will buy shares of Facebook regardless of the price and end up overpaying for the stocks. Once the Facebook hype fizzles down, your cousin Cara and thousands of others wil end up losing millions of their initial investment.
I disagree. In my opinion, gold stocks are more volitile than gold itself. If you compare the big three gold stocks (ABX, NEM, and GG) to GLD, you'll see that GLD has been more stable over the past year.
You write about 3 must own gold stocks, yet you have no positions or do not plan on initiating any positions. This seems like just another senseless SA article. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?
I was wondering who rated ABX a "near" strong buy? According to most analyst ABX is a hold. Also if it is a "near strong buy", doesn't that mean it is just a "buy"?
GG is a good miner, but ABX and NEM are at a higher level and maybe even AUY. Order of best gold miners: 1. ABX 2. NEM 3. AUY 4. GG But you can't go wrong with any of these if you buy on a pullback. Gold will likely hit $2000 before the end of 2012 so everyone's a winner!!
