  • Should King's Sour Candy Be Crushing Shares Of Glu? [View article]
The downturn in Glu is not inside info or short selling, it is the tremendous hit Nasdaq has taken. Gluu,King, and Zynga will prove to be profitable investments.
All becomes clearer when earnings are reported at the end of this month.
    Good luck.

  • Zynga: Will The Mattrick Turnaround Work? [View article]
Once again, Zynga comes under attack by outside influences.
Once again, Zynga will beat estimates, but this time the company will be in a position to make several announcements about their progress in upgrading product line and moving to a mobile platform.
The amalgam of NaturalMotion and Zynga was preordained when Don Mattrick joined Zynga. Mattrick had met Torsten Reil NM's CEO during the time he was running Electronic Arts Global research and development in the early 2000's. What began as a symbiotic relationship became a business partnership. This merger was not of necessity but one where the potential of modern technology could be expedited under the talent of the two companies.
Zynga is not concerned of where the investment community places it. When Mattrick joined the company the disarray was a collective shambles. He advised his board that this would not be an overnight reversal of fortunes. Zynga's ex CEO had run the company into the ground culminating with the purchase of OMGP of which most of the founders were adamantly against. Hence through arguments and division, Zynga the company, was breaking apart.
    This is all old news.
What is new and exciting is; that Zynga is now in the hands of a professional group of people who know and understand the business as well or better than any other group in the industry. The products will come. The profits will come. These will not be predicated on one hit wonders but on building sustaining mobile interactive entertainment.
This story is what makes Zynga exciting and why I have such a strong belief in this company.

I am long Zynga and remain a true believer.

  • Is Zynga Slowly Dying? [View article]
Mr Schenck could possibly be right!
As an investor and a believer in Zynga I wait as others do for something akin to
new products are unveiled. We know they are coming and they will be presented in the last 6-9 month of thhe present year.
Will they be successful? A good question to ask in this highly competitive environment.
The answer is: we do not know.
Our fate is in the hands of Mr. Mattrick & company but they had better come
to our rescue soon or Mr Schenck's comments will be our alarm.

  • King's IPO valuation conservative; Zynga, Glu Mobile gain [View news story]
    No Phil,
No mixture of metaphors. I can only imagine you standing over this company beating
it and beating it while crying "Die. Die. You beast, I have killed you again and again! Die!"
    To no avail.
I cannot believe that you have withstood a short while the stock doubled, maybe triples?
Wait until the next quarter. You will eat another quarters pain. No, you will not have to
wait. Watch. First, an upgrade by a major. Then, another sweet announcement.
    It is written.

    Philip Marlowe,
You have been writing bearish comments since July of 2013. All you are doing is "Beating a dead horse" who just will not die. Still carrying that short position?
No armageddon here. Just your imagination.

  • Zynga's 2014 Plans Are Quite Bullish And What's Next For The Market [View article]
There are additional reasons to watch Zynga.
Zynga is moving toward the future with product developments offering cutting edge technology which, in time will lead to estimable earnings.
Zynga's acquisition of NaturalMotion created the opportunity of marketing new games far superior to what is being offered today.
This is not the company of a year ago, this is a new modernized company, with new leadership, fully ready to to move forward aggressively.
There certainly is risk in investing in a company in such a competitive industry.
    Therefore: the payoff is huge.
In addition, behemoths like Baidu and Microsoft wait in the wings.

  • Zynga's CEO Presents at 2013 Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference (Transcript) [View article]
It is all a matter of seeing the forest despite the trees.
As good a shot as I have seen in a long time.
This company has an untapped future especially with the recent acquisition.
I told you; stay with the money.

Also.......the next big mover could be NBG, not ready quite yet but when it moves up
to $5.00, a must look at Greek bank.

  • MBIA's Next Earnings Announcement Could Be The Start To A Rally [View article]
Being a bit of a chartist I would like to point out that MBI has tried to break
$13- 6 times and failed. If it is able to hold the $13.00 price there is nothing between
    $13 and $14.

  • Zynga Betting On Mobile Games [View article]
Wally, no one at this time is forecasting $50. That would be a delusion. What most of us saying is that this company after a disastrous start is alive and humming.
To those who say $8-10, by the time it gets there (if it does) the company will be humming.
"Zynga is a better buy at $5 then it was at $4 as it was a better buy at $4 than it was at $3. The price of this this stock will reflect the direction of the company not the hype of the industry".

  • Zynga Betting On Mobile Games [View article]
If you have by chance read my comments on Zynga you will
find that you have echoed my very thoughts and what I have forecast for the company
    is taking place.
It has been a long time since I have been as intrigued and
enthused about a company...and at $4.00 no less.
It amazed me to see how few people have realized how important the hiring of Mattrick was, his mode of leadership and planning nor how important the acquisition of NaturalMotion is in replacing the lost personnel under the debacle of the Mark Pincus era. With this exciting acquisition comes, new futuristic products, additional expertise and a broadened market with expanded horizons.

There is a certain relationship between DeepMind, the startup that Google paid $650 million for and NaturalMotion; both companies deal with certain aspects of the motor control nervous system, with NM it is simulated, in DM it is a combination of machine learning and simulations; both use the technology in games. Both have their roots in biology and robot control.
Interesting? Certainly because therein lies the future.

  • There Are A Lot Of Positives For Zynga [View article]
I just finished reading "The Motley Fool's" article on "Game Developers: Have the Gains Come and Gone?". The premise of the article is about "Activision Blizzard, Glu Mobile, and Zynga" and how increased optimism has enabled these stocks to soar in recent weeks.
They continue to explain that the gaming industry is volatile, that the success of a game developer depends upon its ability to create best-selling franchises and that all in all these factors to these successes are highly unpredictable.
I am at sea! What is Motley Fool telling us that we didn't know two years ago?
The "FOOL" than goes on to write that Zynga's acquisition of NaturalMotion is a desperate move on behalf of this Internet gaming company. "DESPERATE!!"

For a response I want to bypass the past 9 months whereupon Zynga changed direction with new management, continued a solid balance sheet and for the first time; astute guidance to deal with the future. I have written about these attributes many times, arguing and fostering the premise that Zynga turned the corner when Don Mattrick joined the company.
NaturalMotion-I want to analyze NaturalMotion succinctly: first, the acquisition of this company is a genius move. Between Zynga's technical staff and NM's staff with their own technology a world of new products could open as both entities begin to work together.
NM is 13 years old, originally out of Oxford University. It specializes amongst its own successful games an expertise in animation technology. This company is futuristic with technical ability that could very well blend with providing real-time simulated games that go well beyond what we experience today. Fantasy? Maybe. Yet they now have the expertise to take gaming to a incredible new level. Competition? Not really. They control the patents!
In July 2012 NaturalMotion acquired BOSS ALIEN whose employees came out of Disney. An additional core of experienced expertise.
Now, this may all be to no avail but the realm of possibility is real and the potential is certainly possible.
In addition, the investors behind Zynga are powerhouses and their money is in. Always follow the money!
    I love the odds.

The "FOOL" then makes the case that Cloud computing is a radical shift in technology that has investors getting filthy rich and they want you to join them. Anyone wanting to get rich raise your hand.....the "FOOL" is waiting.
Who knows? They might be right.
