  • There Are A Lot Of Positives For Zynga [View article]
Although I was 3 days to early forecasting Zynga's breakout at $4.84 I do feel exonerated by today's action.
This is what occurred in the last 3 weeks:
A downgrade by Stern Agee, (the stock was unaffected), an upgrade by UBS (whereupon the stock moved up quietly) and the announcement of a shelf registration upon which the stock opened slightly lower then rallied past $4.90 to close at $4.77.
The importance of Zynga's action is thus:
The stock has based out at a higher price and proved resiliency.
Jim Cramer noted that $4.75 was a breakout. Kramer was wrong.
The actual breakout was a $4.69 or better- closing price. This takes in the run-up after the close of $4.68 last week before trading lower.

Now where does this leave us tonight?
Many Hedge or mutual funds are unable to buy a stock under $5.00. Once Zynga closes above that price it opens the door to these potential buyers.
Zynga's move has been with only one upgrade, UBS, so the stock has moved upward without much analytical assistance.
What occurs when these upgrades take place?
I have written before and reiterate; the stakes in Zynga have never been higher.
It is my opinion that the investors who stay the course; will be amply rewarded.

I carry a sizable position in Zynga.

Zynga closed at $4.68 in the aftermarket.
Question: Monday Feb.10, with a median price of $4.84 between the close and $5.00, do you feel that Zynga will close above or below the median on Mondays close?
    My answer: above.

Question: If Zynga was going public today, what price do you think it be priced at?
Especially after Google paid $650 million for DeepMind Technologies a start up company..
    My answer: $8.00

Question: If Zynga is bought out in the two years, who do you think will be the acquirer:
    My answer: Microsoft

Question: If the talent that left Zynga in the past 18 months knew what would happen
within the company, what percentage of them would still have left?
    My answer: 20%

One man's opinion and a Zynga stockholder.

  • There Are A Lot Of Positives For Zynga [View article]
On Friday, Feb 7, after the close CNBC floated Zynga's chart and pointed out that
their chart- calls for a major move upward for the company.
Based on price, volume, timing, industry, earnings; Zynga is ready to soar.
AND...that is the reason Z rallied after the close.
    I was a participant buyer!

If.....the stock breaks 5$ on the upside right here..........there will be a continued
move up and a major break out in the offing.
What I really love is.....if you are long this stock.....you are in bed with the big
boys and that is where the money is.

Jason, please look at my comments and repartee' with George Kesarious.
I think that I replied to you also. There are times that a particularly interesting
investment such as Zynga shows up; a $1.50 risk against at $4.00-$6.00-$8.00 profit makes a lot of sense in any investment. This is Zynga.
    Exciting Industry
    Superior Management
    Sufficient Capital
    Debt Free
A Board of Directors the envy of many companies.
There are no certainties, but I particularly like the odds in Zynga.

  • Has Zynga Lost Its Edge? [View article]
Good call as the stock reaches a 2 year high.
At $5.00, I suggest you cover the stock.
Oh....I forgot, you have no position.
Nothing. NOTHING, that you write about is new. Nothing!

  • Zynga Isn't Playing Around Anymore [View article]
I wrote this commentary in Seeking Alpha, May 17, 2013.
Before Mark Pincus stepped down and Don Mattrick and Clooney came aboard and long before the recent acquisition.

"What to look for: an important acquisition: to sustain and replenish the brain drain loss that has taken place in the last 9 months. An executive hiring; to implement and broaden the direction and appeal of the company's products. I have time and again reiterated that by next year Zynga the company will not look like Zynga the company looks like today.
I have also repeated that to me, as an investor, the interest that
Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers has in the company, insures its position as an enduring entity.
I have a position in Zynga's stock and expect to increase it when such signs point out to me that rather then being an interesting $3 stock it becomes an exciting $4 stock".

Zynga the company is making the right moves that were essentially important to survive in a growing competitive industry. To me, it is the reason that the stock is
doing quite well as the general market trades lower. For some time the investors in Z watched the market make new all time highs as it languished and refused to participate. Nevertheless, time will tell.

    I am long Zynga

  • Zynga Soars On Full Year Guidance, But Where's The Value? [View article]
Agree with you emphatically. I really do not understand Kesarios's constant barrage of bearishness in a $4 stock; with nothing at stake.
Read about the new acquisition; it is a very techno company with a 10 year record of success in the business. Google paid $400 million for a startup so how does that make Zynga look?
With the talent-money-power- there powerhouse advisers, "Kleiner Perkins", and Bill Gates is pals with Don Mattrick. Can you really see Mattrick come aboard, with a deal based on Zynga's stock price? And Fail?
This is a most interesting investment, Zynga is NOW, doing the right things.
In my opinion; this is a $20 stock within 2 years.
    Cut and dried..........

Even if Zynga does not make it to the top again; it will still succeed.
The company could be a major.
