I spent a month with a high end windows phone and a high end android phone. I found Android to be a total hack. Windows was impressive but flawed in certain ways. Now Im back to iphone which I consider the best by far, both in hardware and software.
Businesses will need to continue to use office and outlook. For now, that means they will continue to buy windows, especially windows 7, which will continue to be available. The only thing that might Change that is office 356 which is web based.
And there is always the chance ms will get smart and split win 8 into separate os's for PCs and tablets.

At the apple store, they gave me a new phone for $200 even though I hadn't bought the guarantee. My new phone had all of my phone numbers, Text messages, music and photos already on it. That's ecosystem!
