  • GeoInvesting Presents Additional Evidence To Support Assertions On AmTrust [View article]
The Geo Team has shown that they lack fundamental understanding of several industries.

I guess as long as you create enough fear in your reports, it doesn't matter if you know what you're talking about

  • GeoInvesting Responds To Bronte Capital On AmTrust [View article]
The author will not reply because the author is not interested in the truth - only twisting things to fit their position. Geoinvesting has done this many, many times - they ignore the facts that contradict their "research" because is does not go to help them profit off of market manipulation of securities.

    Plain and simple.

  • L&L Energy's Falsely Disclosed Phoenician Deal [View article]
The primary issue with all these guys (Geo/Value Vigilante/Carnes) is that they find a morsel of a fact that at first blush does not make sense, then create a hit piece around it, alleging fraud when there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation for it.

They just don't want to do the work because they short, then form their facts around their short position to distort. It's convenient.

Exactly - this "research" is just weak and subjective and lacks hard facts. Conjecture and stories from anonymous sources that don't have the facts.

    Weak....

    Sincerely, a concerned CA taxpayer.

I think its fine having senior managment based in one place (such as the US in this case), while having operational management located near the place of operations (such as Guizhou, for example, in this case). It works for other companies, should be able to work here too.

"Hence I am not sure what business it is they do in the US that you refer to."

Bowie in CO. They are also frequently on the hunt for anything strategic in the US.

"If you say that management spend most of their time in China,"

They don't - Only Dickson travels frequently between the two countries. Norman is only senior level guy that is a PRC citizen.

"maybe management should consider moving their HQ to China. "

Why would the do that when nearly all of top management are US citizens with families in the US?

  • Evidence Casts Suspicion On Shougang Fushan's Financials: Part I [View article]
Actually the facts presented in this article and the conclusions are horribly wrong.

The author clearly has demonstrated lack of coal mining knowledge.
