An alternative to their payment of dividends would be for them just to buy one of the 50 states of the US every couple years. Pretty soon, they would own all the farm land. {toungue in cheek}
As a former CFO, I can't even imagine the issues of dealing with that much cash.
So does anyone know if the dividend payments are required to be paid out of US cash, or can they be paid out of "overseas" cash without that counting as repatriation. I suspect it would be considered repatriation, but I have not thought about it before.
