  • Belviq Sales Dip: What To Watch For Ahead [View article]
Spencer, really....... you put together articles every week that are way more confusing and mis-leading, the fact that they use net sales is very mis-leading. This is simple, ARNA is struggling and heading toward dilution of it's stock price. Pipeline is at least 3 years away. I made it simple give or take a percent or two. The fact is that when you talk total sales, you are giving the impression that it is all ARNA. You are the one the is mis-leading and your readers and they do not pay attention to your clarifying statements. You absolutely need to stop claiming this is ARNA's sales. It is not and this entirely mis-guided notion that because BELVIQ was on the market after Q that it's sale have been stronger. My goodness, did you forget about the mail order REMS and the Q adcom. You are the one who should be making the point at whole lot clearer. It doesn't take an SA article with charts and graphs to point out the ARNA selling out to an market partner way to early was a bad idea and it is not working out for either party. No matter how you sugar coat it, ARNA doesn't have a Stendra to save it's stock price.

No need for me to retract anything, it's obvious what you have become. What's pathetic is that I wasted my time on idiots.

  • FDA Data: Good News For One Anti-Obesity Company, Not So Good For Another [View article]
Come on Spencer, your better then this kinda of crap and Z is correct. All of a sudden adverse reactions are at 11 per quarter and then there is a jump to 954 and you don't raise serious questions about the reporting or dig deeper to find out the reasons why. No, you write a reckless article in advance of understand any real facts, making truly un-informed statements on the safety of Qsymia based on reported numbers that you are clueless to understand. Your article is a prime example of why Yahoo doesn't support SA anymore and why every article on SA suspect of legitimacy. Where are all the cleft palates?

  • A Vivus Buyout? Fat Chance And A Good Time To Short [View article]
My goodness. I have finally seen the most incompetent article every written. How did this joke get released and if anyone is stupid enough to follow the recommendation of initiating a short positions at this time in the face of so much uncertainty based on this hack piece of on article, you deserve what you get. This article reeks of someone that is scared their investment position is in dire trouble and is begging for help by cherry picking half truths and the unknown, while leaving out important details. Unfortunately this authors has no clue what is getting ready to happen and it's effect but is using his lack of understanding and confusion to make a case to short a stock already at the bottom. Plus, to discount the effect that Stendra revenues will have on the profitability of VVUS because he doesn't get the answer he wants in a conference call is ridiculous. Then after reading the thread, I now have a greater appreciation for Spencer Osborne and his ability to respond. This author acts and responds like a PUNK. Very embarrassing retorts, but that's what you get from someone that writes an article with half truths and seeming no understanding of the situation.

  • Vivus Impresses Street - Can It Last? [View article]
Amazing Spencer, It's only a bit of an excuse if it's only the first time we heard about the reorganization. But when VVUS management publicly stated, in advance, that they were changing direction on the way Q was marketed so they could increase margins and they succeed, I'm sure we can give them full credit for good execution. I guess your guaranteeing that is will only last one quarter? Especially since VVUS management stated publicly that they felt that the 2nd quarter is the big diet season and they have been aiming for this quarter along. What has been truly amazing has been the pure under estimation of Stendra. This alone good make VVUS a $20 stock by the end of the year. Talk about a nice trajectory of script growth. Sure would like to see you give us some charts on the future of Stendra.

  • Will Arena Seize An Opportunity? [View article]
Will ARNA seize the opportunity???? NO, Eisai might be able too, but it is not up to ARNA. ARNA is sitting on the sideline in the obesity fight hoping and praying Eisai will be successful. Eisai still has to pay for an expensive CVOT trail and double the additional sales reps, plus hugely expensive TV ads. Is either ARNA or Eisai going to make any money at this rate? There is still a huge industry problem that faces weight loss drugs, period. Plus lets not forget about ARNA's huge cash burn on trails and admin cost with no other drug with in 3 years of any sales. Need to stop and get a proper reality check and stop worrying about some punk racist. Terrible article and thread.

  • Vivus: Shares Are Oversold, Pressure Is On To Secure A Commercial Partner And Drive Market Penetration [View article]
Very good article. Just wondering, we have a recent publishing of Cardiovascular Benefit-Risk Profile of Qsymia based on existing phased trial data, over 200,000 users since approval and VVUS working with the EU and FDA on the coordination of metrics for EU approval and the CVOT requirements. Can existing data from already phased trials be re-worked and then submitted to the EU and FDA to complete their requirements? Plus, would the data collected from REMS help make the case also. This would justify to me why VVUS management is taking a huge risk moving forward now on the EU approval without the new CVOT studies and why we haven't seen any news on the start of the CVOT. This would also explain why the partnership has not happened yet from a management team that was hell bent on getting a partnership deal done or a push toward increasing the sales of Qsymia. Any thoughts?

  • Have Anti-Obesity Drug Companies Failed? [View article]
Sizzzzzzle...... man that truth really did hurt you Yossi. Eisai owns BELVIQ not ARNA. You must feel cheapened by the fact that ARNA sold out before the FDA approval and now barely have enough cash flow to cover the HUGELY EXPENSE trails on new drugs that are over two years away from approval. BURN ARNA CASH BURN, with no income to speak of...... I would say that you have plenty of TIME saved looking for a new investment, because ARNA's future is wayyyyyyyyyy down the road. Hopefully the Dream Team Grp paid you well.

  • It's Always Darkest Before The Dawn: Why Vivus Could Double In Three Months And Triple In Twelve [View article]
Great article, surprised the ARNA faithfully haven't been more active in disputing this article with lies and half truths.

How to we break the hold the these scamming weight loss clinics? Phentermine is still selling over 100k scripts a week, charging huge prices for phen, shakes, cookies, vitamins and 800 calorie diets. Plus real doctors are shooting themselves in the foot if the public doesn't have to go into their office's every 3 months to get scripts to buy blood test, blood pressure and cholesterol meds.

Seems there is a huge conflict of interest in the medical community at this point in which no one wants to take on additional risk to upset the current apple cart, because it is too easy to say diet and exercise and wash their hands of it. Yet that mentality is what has gotten this country fat.

Then to top is off, both VVUS managements have made critical mistakes and are terrible at communicating a message, let alone protecting the brand.

You are right in the article, it appears to be lining up but it's been a long road.

  • Arena Falls On Quarterly Results [View article]
Of course for VVUS that is net revenue of $9M for Q4 2014 not FY, for ARNA that is stock the store revenues $2.5M, not net and that will effect trading today.

  • Arena Falls On Quarterly Results [View article]
billgg99, You can question all you want, that doesn't change important facts. ARNA with Big Pharma is failing! Burn rate is huge and most ARNA investors won't even acknowledge the excessive bleeding in ARNA's balance sheet and VVUS has access to more cash to survive longer. Belviq with Big Pharma is not even close to Qsymia sales that are impeded with a hypocritical REMS, agreed to by inept management. So as I acknowledge in this thread, investors were warning ARNA was a terrible investment and as in AH trading and tomorrow mornings trades, that market cap of $1.5B is going to take a tremendous hit.
