  • If BlackBerry 10 Fails, Can The Company Survive On Services And Software? [View article]
I am going keep faith in my rsearch about BB10, only going to liston to blackberry CEO' comments. The rest is all show and tell. Nothing has changed as per pump and dump or doom and gloom situation. Buy at the dip and thats all I know. Going to keep on holding for the long term. Minnimum two years. Using 30% of the intended blackberry investment to take advantage of show and tell news and dump situation to make money but still keeping 70% in all the time. Thank you very much all those people working hard to bring the stock price down. My average from $16 to $11.13 now. Few more bad news and followed buy large stock dumps and my average will be in single digit. Thanks again.

  • But, But BlackBerry Was Dead [View article]
    Using your provided links.
world wide share of blackberry on
    March 1st 2013 = 3.35%
    May 16 2013 = 3.64%
an increase of 0.29 in 77 days.
if i average it out over 365 days that is 1.37% increase in a year
    meaning existing 3.35% + 1.37% = 4.72% total after 365 days.

providing that Q10, Q5 and number of enterprise servers yet to be released worldwide. i am a buyer of blackberry at 5% world wide share (meaning 60 to 80 million devices per year).
thank you for giving me more confidence. i have not calculated BBM, access to android and apple devices and earn yearly subscription on them for making those devices secure to do business, not calculating QNX integration for industrial application and information, not calculating debt free and cash on hand etc.
once again thank you sir. I would appreciate more feed back from you on this matter.

  • BBM Cross Platform Means Gold For BlackBerry [View article]
I would rather watch CNN or CNBC BBC etc on these bbm channels than down loading and switching individual apps. Using blackberry bridge to view on the larger screen. May be run a live auction and participate from anywhere using secure network, lock in your bbm cash bid and pay automatically if one wins. I can think of 1000's of applications and it is mostly possible with secure and speedy OS. Thanks to the bears, not sure what their strategy is but i picked up more shares this morning at the dip. Good luck every one.

  • Apple And Samsung Just Don't Have A Chance Against BlackBerry [View article]
this might help as to why bes10 has more chances. they offer free trade in for existing customers for new upgrade plus this system manages up to 15000 devices on single server plus it covers all kind of devices. to me ios and android are blackberry's customers and because of the new BES 10 (blackberry Fusion) android and IOS devices have a chance to be secure. http://t.co/3ifaAA1TEg Blackberry's hardware business is just a cherry on the top. Their software business alone is worth more than the current shareprice. Peter Misek only put $2 value on the hardware business side ans $17 on the enterprise software/service side back in february.
In few day in orlando blackberry live event will put together the missing pieces of the puzzle. I am investing in blackberry because it is not one trick pony.
If any one wanted to walk away from Rim then they would have done that by now because Rim was going through "restartup process". At this stage of the game, Blackberry is the most advanced proposition out there.

"In June, we expect the launch of sandbox capability for iOS and Android, but BBRY may preview this at the conference. We also expect BBRY to showcase a new streamlined implementation of BES10. Currently, BES10 is installed in three server-side components: 1) BlackBerry Device Service (BDS), which supports PlayBooks and BB10 handsets; 2) Universal Device Service (UDS), which provides mobile device management for iOS and Android devices; 3) BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) 5.0.3 and above, which supports older BlackBerry handsets. Currently, BES 5+ has to be installed on its own server while BDS and EDS can be on the same virtual server. BBRY plans to launch an upgrade in May 2013 that will combine BDS and UDS into a single component and let it run on the same server as BES 5+. We think the availability of the streamlined BES10 will catalyze enterprises to shift from trials of BES10 to broader roll-outs"
Find me a single company with above capabilities with costing as less as blackberry?

  • BlackBerry Browsers Grows 21% In The UK At Apple's Expense, Soon To Overtake Samsung [View article]
Although IMO suspect that each server has to be updated in each country to properly identify the new BB10 browser verses old BB browser. not sure how many have done that?

  • "In five years I don’t think there’ll be a reason to have a tablet anymore." Those comments from Thorsten Heins have set the tech press abuzz. Many note Heins' remarks, which follow past comments about BlackBerry (BBRY +4.3%) taking a cautious approach to tablets, seem strange given the market's staggering growth. But an explanation appears to lie in March remarks from Heins about BlackBerry pursuing "a mobile-computing experience" that allows users "to carry one computing device." Instead of competing in a hotly contested tablet market, BlackBerry seems to be pushing a vision of (BB10) smartphones paired with PC/tablet docking peripherals. Time will tell if they'll be more successful here than Motorola[View news story]
Here is the answer in this BB CEO video. It is about 50 minutes long and need flash. Tis guy is very intelligent and upfront. Any one who is seriously investing with Blackberry should watch this.
