Alloy Steel International: Explosive Growth at a Reasonable Price [View article]
This company is, at least from an American perspective, distressingly incommunicative. No press releases, just SEC filings. The last good news was included in a Form 10-NT, something very few people read. Why should we have to speculate about what the company sees ahead on the basis of their Capex? Why don't they just TELL us what they expect? I think their closed style is costing half a buck a share. Certainly, they could have prepared the market for the tax hit in Q108; if they had, the silly sell-off could have been avoided. I'm not complaining, exactly, as I used the overreaction to add to my holdings, but, still, I would prefer a quarterly, matter of fact announcement and conference call with Q&A, and I'm sure such simple, unhyped communications would boost the market cap by way more than it would cost.
