  • New Electric Vehicles Coming Soon [View article]
electric cars are not zero emission cars. the source of energy is the electric power plant that is very much a pollutant. every electric car owner should drive by a coal-fired power plant.

  • DECK the Halls with Uggs  [View article]
DECK is an American company not Australian. but the boots you talk about first appeared on the beaches of Australia, not California. You are in CROX and JWN and you can't tell a good product backed by good brand and good management from a fad? DECK's stock price growth was anything but steady. It was a freaking roller coaster. ask anyone who had the guts to hold DECK in the last 5 years.

  • Was Verizon Really Wrong To Pass On The iPhone? [View article]
The iPhone is pretty much a dead brick without connection. Therein lies AT&T's value.

scdub, you must have an investment theory better than saying CRM has been going up in the last few years. For me companies like CRM are a big DO NOT TOUCH. I just can't predict this stock. I can't make a valuation on it, I don't understand what drives it. Looking at the chart over the last 6 months its going up and down like the skyline at the rocky mountains. Makes no sense. Good luck betting on this one.

  • Apple: Sell the News, For Now - Barron's [View article]
The rise of AAPL is not the result of iPhone hype or any other hype. It is due to its Earnings. Apple is gonna earn close to $4.00 per share in this fiscal year and just to maintain currant p/e it has to rise to $150 by December/January. Apple sports an EPS growth rate of 70%-80%.

Yes I'd love to buy on a dip. Please stupid, scared, small time investors, sell sell sell! I'll be the first to buy more @ $100.

  • Salesforce.com: Clearly Mediocre  [View article]
CRM's valuation is simply impossible to comprehend. 60% YoY revenue growth and no earnings is by no means justification for p/e 3,500. They should produce revenue growth of 200-300% YoY for the current high valuation. They had negative cash flow in 2007. ???? What a nonsense. They are selling the idea of a 'new paradigm in Customer Relationship Management' to investors. While the paradigm shift is indeed happening it is not obvious why Salesforce.com will be the absolute winner here.

All longs including Institutions are HOPING that Salesforce.com will all of a sudden 5 fold its earnings and in the meantime senior management is unloading its shares by the millions. This company is walking on a tight rope above the Niagara Falls.
