  • Tesla: 2 Events Pave The Way Closer To $500 Per Share [View article]
tftf: Demand is a bit more nebulous than you suggest and likely to change as awareness of Tesla and its Model S (and anticipated Model X) increases. I have reason to believe, as I have read the speculations, that interested consumers are increasing their vehicle spending budgets and purchasing the S, whereas they formerly would not have shopped in this price range. Let's see how Tesla manages itself through its production constraints and how demand fares in the months ahead.

Apology is admission of guilt. No guilt here unless fault can be proven. Not sure what learning institution you attended PR class at.

TSLA in last place, but still an honorable mention. Let's see if the 'recovery' lasts. Back to 'overvalued' territory. All for it.

Glad to have had the opportunity to get in at $30. This was, of course, years ago. Nice hold for the dividends.

  • The NHTSA won't pursue investigation into Model S battery fire [View news story]
Yes, I believe it should be [patently] embarrassing.

However, I must follow this comment up by stating that I suspect the FUD -spewer is likely beyond embarrassment - for stating false claims -as he has- against this company.

  • Will Tesla Design New Vehicles In Time To Prevent More Devastating Battery Fires? [View article]
Are we talking about unsustainable fundamentals?? I thought this article topic was regarding inevitable vehicle recall and apocalyptic battery fires. Far too soon for this game-changer company to have 'normalized' fundamentals.

I fully welcome a third party investigation. Hell, bring on a fourth party. To call a freak accident with road debris a design flaw in this instance in which a Tesla EV was involved is like saying an ICE car having a gas tank under its chassis is a design flaw. Utter FUD! Grasping straws, seriously, here.

It's really a sad state of affairs when folks have to conjure up misinformation to discredit an innovative company. It's further disappointing when, instead of offering a balanced, level analysis, they instead use sensationalism and easily refutable statements and commentary in support of their theses. Betting on and wishing for a company's failure - how admirable.

Let the TSLA winner run. Sure, we're due for a correction; that may come sooner, or it may come later. We may see a grossly overvalued SP of $230, and maybe $250 before any major correction arises. This may be the next Apple, Netflix or Amazon, or it may not. TSLA is writing its own story, both as a stock and as a corporation.

Fundamentals be damned. If you have been betting against this company, you have been losing. The Market doesn't care how many accounting degrees or investing experience one has. The numbers don't lie.

Anxious to see how this story continues to unfold before us.

    Hi AlexT1379 -

I think you meant 'mettle' : noun
    1. a person's ability to cope well with difficulties or to face a demanding situation in a spirited and resilient way.
"the team showed their true mettle in the second half"

However; if you did intend the "metal" that you typed, let's hope [long] shareholders are composed of the titanium variety. For it truly has been one downward and sideways ride, for as long as I have been watching.

In @ $38.15; average presently @ $47.23; plenty of upside as company delivers/meets or exceeds promises. Comfortable with expected dips. We have not seen the top.

Dan F, would those Lululemon pants be of the nearly see-through variety?

    http://read.bi/154EDwC

Thanks for the perspective on the supercharger stations; some owners - as yourself - will opt to disregard; some will use strategically if/as needed/desired; and some will use as often as they can. It provides an option and - along with battery swap - negates range anxiety concerns.
