    Unlike Troll and divtra, I believe the AMD stock will increase after the announcement. This is similar to a few years ago when AAPL announced that it would be changing it's revenue recognition method of software in its devices. The whole market knew for months that it would be a significant boost for AAPL, but the stock jumped on the day of the release of the numbers nonetheless! I would suspect that perhaps you have the smart money that already prices news in, and the dumb money that prices it in much later.

    Unless you're a CPA familiar with auditing practices, I don't think evaluating auditing difficulty is appropriate. I like the depth of the article but I think discussing auditing is out of scope. Auditing firms themselves inside of China are not held to the same standards as ones inside the US, as the SEC and PCAOB do not have access to reviewing their audits. Therefore, auditors within China shouldn't be held to the same amount of trust as in the US.
