  • Herbalife's Astonishing Response [View article]
I think the Herbalife story is about aggressive hedge fund behavior not multi-level
marketing business models…it is a given that multi-level marketing and just
the average small business failure is sky high..How many small business's fail in the
    first two years…or less?

Herbalife multi-marketing model looks like a fast moving hamster wheel of people
who sign on and fail…but is this perception a pyramid scheme?
The most Herbalife might be guilty of is mis-leading advertising about success..but
(their) terms and conditions point out the nothing is guaranteed..nothing in life
    is, right?

  • Tim Cook's Improbable Victory In Washington [View article]
Are both Parties testing the waters to allow American Companies
    to Repatriate their offshore money?
The economy is on the mend and it sure wouldn't hurt our politicians
to allow American Business to flood the our economy with pent-up
    Billions of dollars..

It looks like it..Apple is the perfect political foil to go to Washington
winning over Congress on this subject....

The real question for Apple is whether or not it will prevail and keep

  • Samsung, Apple Still Solid Investments As They Continue To Dominate Handset Market [View article]
I always find it troublesome when we compare Samsung to Apple..
Samsung is a asian GE that tries to maintain industry dominance in
the broad spectrum electric/electronic realms.. Samsung will always
be hamstrung with the same problems that GE faces

  • Apple's March Uptrend Is No Sucker Rally [View article]
Good article...there has been alot of discussion about Apple's China
play..all of which points to China's internal governmental actions..
China Mobile has been given 4G build out licenses ahead of China
Unicom but not fast enough for investors...? which leads to low cost
iPhones to the masses...500 million + potential iPhone users through out over 100 cities in China..a good thing...
Follow China's governmental actions,iPhone subsidies what type of
iPhones and watch the reaction of the large institutional investors..

  • The Special Dilemma For Altria Stockholders [View article]
Good discussion that explores a stocks value on future earnings and
company validity..Alot of analysis will fall short due to myopic focus
on numbers..O.K. but when trying to unravel a company's potential
earnings and survival ...future growth we must look at legal concerns
..patents,adapting to and creation of product trends-invention...ter... it virtual,political/geop... is critical..

  • Jefferies' Peter Misek cuts his price target on Hold-rated Apple (AAPL) to $420 from $500. He's slashing his revenue numbers and seeing about a 25% chance the company misses Q1 guidance after Jefferies' recent supplier checks. "Historically when handset makers fall out of favor, they fall faster/further than expected." Shares -0.7% premarket. [View news story]
