    This crystallizes the discussion. Why would the monolines give up their munis and retain the CDO's.....signing their own death sentence? Why would the government bail them out when Buffet has already offered? Monolines cannot shake off the fleas from "bad neighborhoods".

    Curious: how does this affect AGO's exposure as reinsurer of ABK?
