  • Yamana Gold: A Gold Miner For The Gold Rebound [View article]
Thinking of opening a position in AUY. I see where they took a hit today and are down to somewhere around $8.50. I don't think the purchase of a new mine in Quebec is a bad thing it seems obvious though that some do.

    Thoughts on this new acquisition?

I sold some calls today to cover the cost of my Renn position, I remain bullish on the company, but being a prudent investor needed to take some money off the table. I expect Renn to receive a boost with the Facebook IPO pending.

  • Uranium Stocks: Is The Rally Over Or Just Beginning? [View article]
I just purchased calls and puts on this company. I like nuclear energy, and will be purchasing more. I took a loss last year on CCJ, had a spread, and thought it could not drop anymore; I was wrong. I still have my calls, and think they will turn a profit by expiration. Thanks for a great article.

I see that earnings are due out February 8th. Will they meet earnings expectations? Or supersede them? Or disappoint? I just bought 50 $9.00 February calls yesterday. I see silver up 58 cents this morning.

Any thoughts on this Simit? Or anyone else?

I got out, yesterday after losing $1500. As Buffett says keep your capital. After seeing it drop so fast, so early I thought there must be something wrong: the report that I later read implied what had happened. While I still see it as a good long term investment, don't want to lose my capital. It's on my list.

    Ian,

No idea what is going on, but I see the stock I purchased rise about 25% in the last few days. Any thoughts?

After reading your article I am in it for the long haul. I like the new processing technique, and that it's in Brazil.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the email, Robert. I think we all need to cut to the chase here, and ask what your thoughts are on COCO, now?

    Robert,,

I bought Coco, on your recommendation, and now I read this article?? What gives? I have to agree with the other postings. I bought Coco and held it. I realized at least a 50% loss on your recommendation. I agree that writing puts on Coco would have realized a gain. Please insult my knowledge of the market if you will, but that does not negate your recommendation was to purchase Coco. I did; I lost.

I can't say I won't read your articles, and use them. Nor can I say I don't respect your skill and background. I can say I am suspicious of your motives after reading this article.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

  • Dangdang: Like Rolling Back Time To Buy Amazon At $6 [View article]
    Kevin,

Thanks for a super article! I bought calls prior to reading it! One for March 2012 ($5.00) and the other for January 2014 ($7.00) and have done really well the last couple of weeks. I agree with you, and have not invested the family farm. I also agree that the Chinese market is scary, but think we as investors should not throw the bath water out with the baby. I am long SVM, HOGS, CHNG, RENN, and SEED. I have no idea whether these are bad or good investments. I do know the future belongs to the BRIC economies. I like China and Brazil, and realize there are more risks with China. I also like my investments in the Chinese internet companies because I see these as being somewhat recession proof. Are internet companies/social media companies recession proof?

    Thanks again,

    Kevin
