    Regeneron has good earnings and in 5 months will have a decision on it's very potent cholesterol lowering medication- why is it considered to be 10% overvalued whereas amazon , tesla, netflix , twitter and numerous early biotechs with little revenue or significant profits have been given huge valuations by analysts. The recent merck report on zetia has shown that targeted cholesterol lowering is very effective in reducing morbidity from vascular disease . The regeneron medication is much more potent than Zetia-so why wait

    background=I am a gastroenterologist for 35 years and currently a registered investment advisor specializing in medical stock analysis. I have seen the robot in operation and feel there is better surgical visibilty of blood vessels and nerves than with laporoscopy. The robot hands can get into smaller spaces and manipulate better and we can infer, if this is true, this would lead to better outcomes as to speed and complications as long as adequately trained surgeons were doing the procedure. I certainly agree with the comments above about the need for more investigation; I do not currently own isrg stock.

  • The FDA is reviewing data on a certain class of diabetes drugs which it says might lead to precancerous changes in the pancreas. The drugs may include Eli Lilly's (LLY) Tradjenta, Merck's (MRK) Januvia, Novo Nordisk's (NVO) Victoza, and Bristol-Myers Squibb's (BMY) Byetta. Labels on the drugs already warn of increased potential for pancreatitis, which is the inflamation of the pancreas.     I am a gastroenterologist, medical stock analyst and registered investment advisor; What is the evidence based on beside the association between diabetes and increased pancreatitis.Inflammation in any organ is often cited as a predisposing factor leading to cancer .
