I occasionally take shots on little known small caps but try to find companies that have superior growth potential and are still a relatively good value based on various methodologies, different for specific companies and industries. Oddly enough, I rarely invest in small biotech companies. Though the rewards can be great, the risk is usually very high. No risk, no reward but I prefer to stick with cash flow positive companies, biotechs in the clinical phases are nearly always just burning money.
