For starters, Tim cook needs to bring all of his assembly plants out of china and back into the good old USA . That will create lots of jobs over here and in turn, the Chinese won't be able to copy any of apples ideas and sell them as their own or to Other countries. I would suggest to trade this stock for the short term using options . I have done very well back in 2011 and still doing well now in 2013 . But make sure you have an escape route in place for this stock if and or when it decides to tank. It's so unpredictable. Good luck to all .

Netflix (NFLX +13.4%) resumes trading after a halt to reach as high as $84.50 before tripping up circuit breakers once again. All the excitement is tied to a 13D filed by Carl Icahn showing a 9.98% stake in Netflix and saying the company holds "significant strategic value due its dominant market position and global growth prospects". Now the question is if Icahn still sees shares as undervalued now that they have run up a hefty gain lickety-split. [View news story]
perhaps if netflix were to merge with another big company, they would get a ton of movie contracts.maybe netflix needs some new blood to run the company. in this day in age its who you know first and then what you know.

Gold may reclaim its safe-haven status by year-end, analysts say, on continued central bank purchases and demand from emerging economies and as investors refocus their interest in cash. precious metals such as silver and gold in my opinion have been manipulated for so many years now. some large banks may still have tremendous short positions to tame gold prices from going any higher due to the weakening dollar and more money printing from our friend big Ben Bernanke. in this election year, another round of QE3 is going to be necessary to pump up the stock market from horrible weekly and monthly employment numbers and slow growth. gold and silver could make new all time highs in the coming months ahead. soon enough everything will unravel

in my opinion facebook went public just to make the very important people really wealthy and the little people pay for it. you couldn't force me to buy facebook stock . i can't believe people sold their shares of apple to raise cash for this garbage. facebook could not hold a candle to apple. yes, i am long apple stock because it is a rock solid company with brilliant minds.

Facebook IPO Analysis: Zuckerberg Shoots Self In Foot [View article]
in my opinion ,the FB ipo will do very well on the first day of trading. it will probably continue to go up for a while after that because the small investor will finally get a chance buy the stock at that point. after that, it will be up to Mr. Zuckerberg to keep facebook on top. like any company, you need to be 2 steps ahead of everybody because things get old very quickly and people get bored. especially with the younger generation. allocating funds toward research and development is so important. time will only tell if this young man has what it takes to push his stock into the stratosphere.
