Rent to value ratios of 25-30 make no economic sense and with incomes falling and unemployment rising something has to give -

Hint: it's home values and they are gonna keep dropping as fast as a toilet flush from the Sears tower.]]>

Not a bad result; I think ANR will hit a higher valuation on its own anyway as they should earn $33 in '09 and $45 in '10 using the Citicorp analyst coal price forecast. 4th grade math tells you to go way LONG ANR.

Don't worry too too much about the hedge funds who are selling their coals to free up cash to cover their shorts on the DEAD AND DYING FINANCIALS and just trying to scare up some cheap coal shares at the same time...

They will be covering their coal shorts next week and buying back in long as the rest of the coals report, including the heavy MET coal producers ANR and PCX on July 29. I'm betting yesterday July 24 was the panic bottom for coals in 2008. Both ANR and PCX closed above their respective 50 DMA's today, MACD's and RSI's are turning back positive as well...

Mark it down... yell at me if I'm wrong. I will still be long ANR and PCX.]]>

Thank you very much for your time - this is an excellent forum.

While I am quite optimistic about the company's prospects after reading your press releases and SEC filings, I wonder how it is even remotely possible that you could hit the make-good projections.

By my calculations, for example for 2007, you would need to generate approximatley $85 million in revenue at your 32% gross margins to produce the $24 million of pretax earnings or $16 million after tax to hit the make good requirement. This is roughy a quintupling of last years results.

Can you discuss what plans the company has with respect to hitting these targets? Or should shareholders assume the shares will be issued ?

Good luck and thanks for your time.

This is an excellent forum and I appreciate the chance for such dialog. I wish more companies would do this...

1) Can you share with us what the company's 2-3 year goals are for revenue and earnings growth - maybe a range such as 30% revenues, 25% earnings etc ? As an investor, it is incredibly useful to understand the companies aspirations for growth.
2) Have you determined what size of contract that would warrant a press release by the company ?
3) Most of your business has come from the steel industry. Going forward, on average over the next several years, what pecent of business would you expect to come from steel, and what other business areas are you targeting for growth ?

Thanks
