Liquidity used to mean cash and stuff really easily and quickly convertable into cash. In the last several years liquidity has come to mean cash and any other source of potential borrowing (most of whichwhcih used to fall under the credit label). Well, it looks like the confusion between cash-oriented liquidity and whatever the heck the newer credit-infused "liquidity" meant is clearing up quickly, and somewhat painfully.
