I went to your website titled "My Predictions" and number 11 which states you said that silver was a bubble in 2011 links to an article titled "Who Will Buy the Bonds". This article says nothing about silver. Is this an error? Or maybe I am missing something (on a mobile device)

  • Tesla: Caution Justified After Recent Rally [View article]
Nope I am unfamiliar with the supercharger network but waiting 30 minutes to refuel is still inconvenient and let's be honest, 98 chargers is hardly a network. I shorted Tesla based on the price of its stock. It isn't an internet company. I would like to buy TSLA in my IRA account just not near theses price levels.

Yes I know this but with the context you provided it might as well have been years since you are referring to time, no?

  • Tesla: Caution Justified After Recent Rally [View article]
Light years are the same as regular years BTW . Electric car market is still a niche market for the next 5 years at least. Tesla may have a big appetite but there are only so many buyers and the cars aren't cheap. Tesla faces a big problem which is lack of infrastructure to support electric cars at the moment. That's why they made the rash move to open their IP to the masses. I'm going on a 1500 mile trip for the 4th of July and you simply can't do that with an electric car. (I'm short TSLA). I'll buy the stock gladly at more realistic levels for the same reason I invested in Bitcoins which is they MIGHT be a disrupter and pay off big time but its a slim shot.

  • AK Steel expects Q2 loss, consensus had forecast $0.10/share gain [View news story]
LOL I work in industrial construction and cold weather is not an excuse for lower steel shipments. Heat is an excuse for stalling construction. Cold weather is a boon for industrial workers unless they are referring to the northern slopes.

emberny I think if your position is small enough then you should hold it. If its making you lose sleep sell some until your position is reasonable and you don't lose sleep over it then focus on long term results only.

  • The Great Correction Of 2014? Don't Drink The Kool-Aid [View article]
VIX at extreme low levels does not support the "unloved rally" statement. I'm actually in the middle of reading The Intelligent Investor and it suggest buying based on value, not price, as you suggest but it also suggests buying during low prices and pessimism and selling high during extreme optimism. Also, yes, there has been a lot of bearish articles lately, but every one I read is met with scoffing and disbelief or a counter article as to why they are wrong. If you sell yours tocks here and go to cash you can honestly say you made the prudent decision, even if it is wrong. Lastly, you say history is on your side which is correct but as Benjamin Grahams bookpoints out, no new high was made without revisiting a lower price level at some point .

  • Get Ready For The Coming Golden Age [View instapost]
Nice article I agree with most of it but it is excessively rosy. I was born in 85 which makes me 28 years old and I am ot a financial guru but the average person my age (+/- 5) that I talk to have no real interest in stocks or real estate and the ones that are are extremely skeptical of both. I am bullish on the next 20 years but I don't think the events you describe in this article can't happen without a big correction can it? A big correction would allow the people such as myself to actually invest money in the stock market and eventually once it rebounds, get others interested in investing. Personally I'm well beyond most of my peers in saving (about 120k) but its all cash except for about 10%. I also don't own a house. I mean, I missed the entire bull market of the last 6 years and have zero intention of getting in without seeing some massive correction. Who my age do you know that is doing any different? I know 2 others that are in the same boat as me, I know others with good income but they are LOADED with college debt, and the vast majority don't have proper incomes to even consider investing .
