My fascination with capital preservation, fixed fractional trading, and trading systems keeps me blogging for Seeking Alpha. Most of my articles focus on dividend yields and analyst mean 1 yr targets as stock trading indicators. These are essential tools for catching the most valuable dividend dogs.
A full time investor in stocks, bonds, options, and real estate who previously worked as a financial/investment journalist/analyst. Previous industry stints include privately held SageOnline Inc. - where he held multiple positions - as well as Multex.com, acquired by Reuters, where he was an equity research editor. Aloisi is a cum laude graduate of Penn State University, currently residing in native South Central Pennsylvania with his wife and 2 children.
Income investing has become his focal interest due to the challenges that the ZIRP environment presents. Not an advocate of any single portfolio strategy, he promotes a "go anywhere" philosophy predicated on value, forward thinking, sustainability, and personal objectives. While the past may be instructive, Aloisi cautions on over reliance.
In his free time he likes to talk politics, play the piano, garden, and go antiquing. Mr. Aloisi voluntarily serves as VP of his local school board.

"Demonstrated success is the one outstanding fact which justifies confidence in the outlook for any particular business, and thus the investor will always, as a first test for an industry security, carefully consider the results already obtained." - John Moody
As an editor on the SA PRO team my job is to help find the best content for PRO, to provide feedback and develop talented contributors, and to work with other departments to strengthen the platform.
I have studied to ply my trade in finance with a bachelors in accounting. In 2014, I developed an app to access corporate disclosure materials at the SEC. My grandparent’s home was filled with valuing investing paraphernalia and, naturally, I became interested in the stock market.

MLPData is the leading site dedicated to providing investors with greater transparency into the full universe of Master Limited Partnerships and fund products. Our belief is that Master Limited Partnership's offer a very unique investment opportunity in light of the transformation of the North American Energy Landscape coupled with the unique tax considerations associated with distributions.
We are an independent and privately owned firm, launched by an entrepreneurial team with decades of experience in providing financial content and investment management services. Our objective is to expand the knowledge and investor interest in Master Limited Partnerships that are publicly traded, and the associated investment products such as Closed End Funds, Exchange Traded Notes and Funds and Mutual Funds.
We've been investing in securities and bond markets for decades. We own or have held: stocks, bonds, inverse functioning securities, mutual funds, rental props, REIT's, CEF's, ETF's, MLP's, ETN's, baby bonds, etc. We do advise other traders, DGI's, non-DGI's, and manage monies for various other entities, in addition to managing our own. We're here to learn, participate in constructive commentary, share successes and failures, and contribute content. We've remained in the Cxx and/or executive level suites for a number of years at various corporations and LLC's, but like all of our fellow investor's, we started at the bottom of the totem pole with little investing experience & only a small handful of dollars. Our primary site: http://affinity4investing.com Alternatively, you can find additional articles published exclusively for TheStreet.com, over on their website.
Accounting degree from SUNY , Vietnam Vet and retired Army (Infantry) Major (Active Duty and USAR) . Retired Dept of Defense Supervisory Auditor and now full time (pending spouse approval on a recurring basis) Trader.
However I am mainly a DGI investor, but into total return w/ minimal dividends in my taxable portfolio and trading account.
I am no market wizard, as the Market has been a humbling mistress. However despite missteps I have been able, over 4 decades, to build a 7 digit portfolio.
Stocks, Real Estate, and gas leases (these 2 were stumbled upon just as I am a bumbling handy man and an avid outdoorsman) have blessed me beyond my humble expectations. Over the past few years I have enjoyed the wisdom of Chowder, Dave C., Rose, George A., DVK, Chuck C. and countless others who I look on as inspirational ,filled with common sense.
After an exciting six years picking stocks, I have returned to passive index investing. My only remaining companies are three very small trophy picks which I hold for personal rather than financial reasons and two long term losers which I will sell ASAP. Going forward, my investments will be allocated as follows: 65-70% in a broad domestic and an international stock ETF, 25-30% in an aggregate bond ETF, and 3-4% in a CD. Not exciting enough? My hobbies are watching paint dry and counting my profits.

Seeking alpha has been one of the "go-to" sites for the investors in our family. We would like to strike a perfect balance between short term trading and long term investing, hence the name "Tradevestor".Good luck investing. In the interest of full disclosure, this is a group account handled by Father and Son. The Father was a trader for quite a few years years with mixed returns, while the son started out a few years ago with DGI and has slowly convinced the Patriarch towards investing rather than trading.

We try to provide unbiased, balanced and helpful insight into long-term prospects of the businesses we follow. We mainly base our analysis on the fundamentals and assess the long-term growth potential of the companies. In addition, we also analyze the dividend stability of different companies, and try to assess the future cash flows in order to gauge dividend growth potential.

Investor, Property Developer and Hotel Owner. Ardent Follower of Buffett and Munger's principles.
Interested in Small Companies at or below intrinsic value with little or no debt. A business easy to understand and not related to a rapidly changing enviroment (as technology). If it's not in vogue better!
I invest my own money and I commit to it all of the non restricted earnings I can take out of my real estate and hotel ventures.
I write about dividend growth stocks on my website www.dividendgrowthinvestor.com.
I am mostly a buyer of high quality dividend stocks, with solid competitive advantages. My holding period is forever, as long as the dividend is at least maintained. I tend to concentrate my efforts on stocks which grow earnings and dividends, which provides outstanding total returns over time. I only focus my attention to stocks with sustainable dividend payments. I am also a firm believer in diversification accross sectors and geographic locations.
I have been focusing my attention particularly to companies that regularly increase dividends to their shareholders on my website. On my blog I share my thoughts on investing in dividend paying stocks that have consistently increased their payments over time and tips on growing my dividend income. I hope that my blog will serve as an inspiration for my readers and that it would change their financial lives for the better.

I am a dividend investor and look for undervalued investments in the stock market. I identify misunderstood and undervalued equity investments and hold those securities until their price approximates my estimate of intrinsic value. I am a long-term investor only.
I am building a $100,000 high-yield income portfolio. I am running this portfolio as an experiment to see if long-term sustainable income can be generated from a diversified pool of high-risk, high-yield securities. I am willing to accept high risk in order to meet my performance goals.
I'm the lead investment research analyst for income and dividend investing at Investors Alley, an independent investment research service. My primary role is editor of several investment advisories bringing deep dive research and actionable income and dividend investment recommendations to investors. These advisories include The Dividend Hunter, 30 Day Dividends, and Tax-Smart Income Hunter.
Prior to joining Investors Alley, I was a stock broker, a Certified Financial Planner, and an F-16 fighter pilot and flight instructor with the United States Air Force. In addition to my primary duty of flying the F-16 to defend our nation's skies I was an instructor in the F-16 Flying Falcon as well as the OV-10 Bronco. During my time in the service I was stationed at various military locations in including Osan AB, Korea, Patrick AFB, Florida, and Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in mathematics.
It was during those years when I was a Certified Financial Planner and helping families and individuals plan their finances and make wise investment decisions that found my second passion in life: investment research. (Flying was and still is my first.)
My area of specialty is evaluating income generating investments to find the combination of sustainable and growing dividends, special dividend opportunities, and share price appreciation driven by management's commitment to dividend growth. I have a particular emphasis on master limited partnerships, business development corporations, and real estate investment trusts.
I've previously written for USA Today, The Motley Fool, eHow, SFGate, Chron.com, Wikinvest.com, Moneynews.com, iStockAnalyst, among others, and have contributed vast firsthand research to a major provider of data on master limited partnerships, another area of extreme interest to me. Along with my duties with Investors Alley I'm a regular contributor to Seeking Alpha.
In addition to the articles posted here on Seeking Alpha you can find my investment analysis on the Investors Alley website and the weekly newsletter, The Market Cap.
