  • Are Sharks Really Circling Clean Energy Fuels? [View article]
Maybe "sharks" are not circling. But there seems to be a "bear attack", in play here!! I just went through this with another of my stocks. Jeeeeeeeeeez!! I'm kinda sick of it already!!

  • Cummins' 12-Liter Nat Gas Engine Will Power Clean Energy Fuels 20% Higher In 2014 [View article]
Thank you for a nicely written article. I hope ALL that you wrote comes to pass. I have been long CLNE & WPRT for quite some time, and will remain in these names as a longer term investment.
Good fortune to all of those who believe in the "Nat Gas" solution.

  • Annaly Q1 2012 - More Reasons To Go Short [View article]
    @ northhills24:

I agree with you!! Both RS & TJ are FAR more astute authors!! I like RS for BDC's & TJ for mREITs.

Long: AGNC, MTGE, NLY & PNNT............

Oh, by the way, I had to come back and edit to make this comment: Have you noticed that with an RS or TJ article, the comment section is a stimulating and educational addition to the article, whereas some seeking alpha authors get roasted by everyone in the comments section for the content of their piece. I had two authors writing about one of my bio-techs that could not even spell the names of the drugs in the pipeline correctly!! I also agree with SaltyDog62 below, that some articles ya just go straight to the comments because reading the whole article is a complete waste of time!!

  • Is American Capital Mortgage's 16% Yield A Substitute For Agency mREITs? [View article]
    Hey Smarty_Pants:

I started with NLY awhile back, and after doing due diligence on AGNC, I purchased it. Further due diligence on MTGE brought me into that mREIT, and after they did their secondary recently, I tripled my position. MTGE is a newer mREIT with much room to grow. It is managed by the best in the business, Gary Kain, who also manages AGNC.

I would suggest that everyone also read ALL Todd Johnson articles on Seeking Alphas site concerning Gary Kain, AGNC & MTGE. As long a the environment is favorable for mREITs, AGNC & MTGE are two of the best in the sector. Good fortune to you all!!

    Long: AGNC, MTGE & NLY............

  • Linn Energy: Making Sense Of The Recent Decline [View article]
There have been some REALLY BAD articles coming out of Seeking Alpha, also, in the recent past!! (I am NOT referring to this article, by the way.)

Just sayin that NO website has a totally clean record when it comes to perfect information. One has to take them ALL with a bit of skepticism, that's all.

It's the out and out malicious, "Bear Attacks", that I find to be most troubling.............

  • Linn Energy: The Worst May Be Over [View article]
    Hello, Casey:

Thank you for your article. I've ridden this nightmare ALL the way through. I am in the camp of belief that the long term prospects are far more important than short term interest, and as such will vote, YES, on the acquisition. I plan on holding my LNCO shares for mid to longer term.
It would be nice to see a distribution increase, but that is NOT an absolute must in my expectations. LNCO pays a very nice distribution NOW, as far as I am concerned, and I am glad to receive that on a monthly basis. I would rather management continue to run their operation smoothly and most importantly, on a consistent distribution basis. Too many companies make promises that they can't keep, and end up cutting the distribution / dividend, thus crushing the share price and their credibility. IMHO, of course........

  • Buy Range Resources Today For A Natural Gas Rebound [View article]
Todd & all in comments section,

The Nat Gas sector could be in for a GREAT rebound!! If we get some reasonable representatives that embrace it instead of trying to stop, or slow it down.

Check out GTLS, Chart Industries. On their website, there is a very informative slide show under the LNG Systems, ( 5th hot dot, top middle ), which explains their Liquefaction, Distribution, Storage, and Vehicle Fueling Systems. Click in the main box, LNG Systems, when it toggles through, and it will take you to that area. Then you have 2 hot keys to "Access Literature For This Application", and "Download Chart LNG Presentation".

I am also long options in LNG, Cheniere Energy & CLNE, Clean Energy Fuels.

Also watching WPRT, and their cooperation with both CMI & CAT.

The US has at least 100 years supply of Nat Gas. If the government will not participate, then the private sector will pick up the ball and run with it themselves!!

And all the while we should be also working on the other, green energy alternatives as well, but we have to get away from dependence on such countries as Iran & Venezuela and the like. IMHO.
