    A lot of sense, Mr. McHattie. Recovery of this natural gas by "fracking" is destructive to the environment, pernicious to the the water table, destabilizing of the geological infrastructure and non reversible. This last factor means that we gormandize our grandchildren's inheritance to sate our present lust.

    Renewables such as electric vehicles -- and others -- represent an investment now in the future of our children and their world. The issue is a moral one for those who have the capacity to judge right from wrong and to assume the duties of responsible citizenship.
