Yahoo/Microsoft: Dead Deal Talk Replaced with New Buzz [View article]
In an article by David Utter taken from Latif's(?) , msft desire in acquiring yhoo's search ad has something to do with patent 361, if it's true is it possible that acquiring yhoo would open the flood gates of problems for google with their initial settlement with yhoo and thus serve a dual success for msft, eliminating yhoo and possibly causing major damages to google.
It is apparent that the on again-off again scenario between microhoo is a ploy to manipulate the market. The big players are the only ones raking the bucks!!!
Jerry has done everything to keep the company from falling into Ballmere's hand. Now it's time to prove that he did the right thing and put some earnings into the hands of his shareholders .The last thing he needs is to fall prey to his own stock holders.
Does Yahoo Have an Apple-ish Turnaround Ahead of It? [View article]
If Mr. Yang turns this company around like apple, it'll be ONE OF THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD as Mr. Kudlow would say. MORE POWER TO YHOO BOD AND YANG!!! COME HELL OR HIGH WATER, I'M WITH YOU !!!!!!! (not).
Avoiding the Internet Death Spiral: More Advice for Yahoo [View article]
If yhoo is going to a death spiral, why is the stock hoovering at $25+? Is it possible that yhoo doesn't really need msft since it was msft who approached yhoo ,twice? Could it be possible that it's the other way around that msft is the one going on a death spiral and in desperation for its own survival?
Yahoo: If You Want Independence, Back Away From Google [View article]
Instead of Yhoo fearing Goog as to what had happened with Aol, why not use it as a case study and learn from all angles to avoid being the next AOL. As for any drugs when put to good use can also be a great life-saver or even be beautifier as in BOTOX!!
What Should Jerry Do? My Advice to Yahoo [View article]
PAIN,PAIN,PAIN.Who doesn't want to get more in this transaction?Ballmer is not interested in a win-win situation.I can't blame him nor mr. Yang for their actions. It hurts to lose but I still believe that Yhoo is worth alot more than msft is willing to pay. It's not going tobe that easy for Yhoo to negotiate when they're constantly distracted by some of their own shareholders."He who has the GOLD rules" is the new golden rule.
On Yahoo/ Microsoft: Jerry Yang Should Be Fired [View article]
To say that Mr. Yang and company underestimated Mr. Ballmere's move of backingout is an understatement. Mr. Yang n Company as well as Msft know that Yhoo is worth over and above $35 range when asian connection ,china in particular is tobe included in the equation. Msft was willing to pay close to $40. before when yhoo's worth less than present. This move is another gamble Mr. Ballmere is betting on, and like the others, it'll backfire and it's his head that will be rolling!!
It seems like Mr. Ballmer is going to make his call and raise his bid. He tried every means to steal yhoo but failed. Now it's time to pay up and move on !! Although a lot of effort was exerted to keep Yhoo's asian connection at bay and keep yhoo's true value low, msft has no choice but to increase its bid and look forward for future earnings of the combined companies.
North of $35. seems more reasonable for the deal tobe sanctified!! The difference between the initial offer and the final can easily be earned by the joint MICROHOO not to mention the hundreds of million dollars they can save by joining forces earlier.
As a fellow yhoo investor,I concur with John Capozzi's comments that the media seems more focused on Msft and its so called premium offer than yhoo's true and fair value.I give Mr. Yang and company great compliment and respect for standing-up against a bully like Msft. amidst this economic slump and crisis not to mention the ongoing process of rebuilding yhoo from Mr. Semel's negligence.I hope if Yhoo is left alone that it'll prove a lot of people wrong and be back as a formidable giant as it was!!!
